Team Epic are promoting this two new LiPo battery packs from Intellect. The first is a hard case 1 cell pack for serious 1/12th scale on-road, 1/12th and 1/10th scale oval racing and World GT and is 3.7 volts, 5000mAh, 40C and comes pre-wired with a Deans plug. The second pack from Intellect is perfect for 1/8th scale off-road buggy and is 14.8 volts, 5400mAh and 35C rated. Both packs are approved and legal for ROAR racing.

The follow up to the company’s Ultra Space Charger, released back in December of last year, the new Ultra Space Charger 2.0 from CS Electronic offers a whole host of updates. The biggest change for the 2.0 version is the latest software that has been specially developed for LiPo cells. Apart from some cosmetic changes such as a new silver control panel, the charger now includes the EHR balancer for 2s – 6s packs, the USB interface and software and the new adapter wires that come fitted with Tamiya-style connector.

Zeppin Racing have released this 18 piece pinion holder that comes combined with soldering helper. The soldering helper will hold all kinds of popular banana tubes in 2.0mm 2.6mm, 3.0mm 3.5mm, 3.6mm, 4mm, 4.3mm & 5mm diameters, while the clamp type holder is able to hold a T-Plug or speed controller securely leaving your hands free to do the soldering. Duratrax have released new 1600mAh and 1800mAh LiPo sport packs. The 1600mAh version comes with Traxxas plugs which are designed for the E-Revo VXL and Slash VXL. Racers can connect two packs in the series for maximum power and speed, or parallel for longer run times. Also available is a version with a mini plug for use with DuraTrax 1/18 scale models as well as many other mini vehicles, and the 1800mAh version that comes with 3.5mm female bullets and a hard case which is required by ROAR and other race-governing bodies.

Designed for competition racing, Team Checkpoint have released these 7.4V LiPo hard case racing car packs. Featuring factory-matched cells inside a hard case that meets ROAR specifications, these racing packs are wired for “balancing” and can include either a Dean’s Ultra Female plug or 4mm female bullets. Available in early September.
