Duratrax LiPo Sports packs

Duratrax have released new 1600mAh and 1800mAh LiPo sport packs. The 1600mAh version comes with Traxxas plugs which are designed for the E-Revo VXL and Slash VXL. Racers can connect two packs in the series for maximum power and speed, or parallel for longer run times. Also available is a version with a mini plug for use with DuraTrax 1/18 scale models as well as many other mini vehicles, and the 1800mAh version that comes with 3.5mm female bullets and a hard case which is required by ROAR and other race-governing bodies.

Team Checkpoint 7.4V 5000mAh LiPo pack

Designed for competition racing, Team Checkpoint have released these 7.4V LiPo hard case racing car packs. Featuring factory-matched cells inside a hard case that meets ROAR specifications, these racing packs are wired for “balancing” and can include either a Dean’s Ultra Female plug or 4mm female bullets. Available in early September.

Team Epic 5200mAh 1-cell LiPo pack

Coming soon from Team Epic is theire new 1 cell LiPo pack for serious 1/12th scale on-road and 1/12th and 1/10th scale oval racing and World GT. This hard case pack is 3.7volts, 5200mAh, 40C and comes supplied with a Deans plug pre fitted.

Team Epic Duo2 Platinum Modified BL motor

Team Epic have released their new Duo2 Platinum Modified brushless motor which is based on the company’s DUO2 Roar Spec motors. Featuring magnet and stator upgrades developed by Paul Lemieux and Jim Dieter and used to dominate the modified brushless classes for the past 18 months, its fully adjustable timing allows precise adjustments for maximum on track performance. The Duo2 Platinum replaces the Pulse modified motors and offers higher performance, more adjustability, reliability and rotor longevity.

LRP have released all new Vector X12 aluminium tuning parts to improve the performance and look of your brushless motor. Speedzone 1S 3.7v Lipo Saddle Pack

Speedzone have sent us a CAD image of their upcoming 1 cell LiPo saddle pack, ideal for 1/12 scale T-bar cars. Even though link cars are growing in popularity, many 1/12 scale racers still prefer the t-bar design so Speedzone wanted to offer a LiPo option for those with t-bar cars. Rather than shifting around electronics and rebalancing the car to fit a standard lipo, a lipo saddle pack offers up a perfect solution. Specs will be 3.7v, 4600mAh rated at 40C and a max charge rate of 5C. The pack will feature in-built bullet connectors and general availability is set for late September.

CS Electronic LiPo Safety charging bags

CS Electronic have released their new LiPo Safety charging bags, which are available in 3 different sizes. A must have for all racers who charge LiPo packs, they reduce the potential damage from a battery fire and slow the spread of flames through the use of its flame retardant properties. A wide velcro strap at the top allows for quick use, while a side opening allows for the charge and balancer cables to be connected. Available in 240 x 300mm, 180 x 220mm and 90 x 220mm.
