Dutch Electric On-road Championship Rd1 – Report

Dutch Electric On-road Championship Rd1 – Report

Last weekend the first round of the Dutch Electric On-road Championship was hosted by the RC Hotwheels club in Deventer on a small and technical track made especially for electric cars. The weather forecast did not look very good for the weekend and on Saturday the track was wet the whole day but that did not stop some of the drivers to test different bits and pieces. In 2015 the championship sees the running of Touring Car Modified and 13.5T Blinky Stock classes along a supporting Formula category that will be run if at least five drivers sign up. Back to the race, on Sunday morning the track was still wet due to overnight rain and some of the drivers helped to get most of the puddles out of the way to allow the qualifiers to get underway. Round one and two were still very wet but round 3 offered decent conditions although it was still declared a wet race.
