The third round of the Czech Open series was held on the tight and bumpy track in Mlada Boleslav. Xray’s Kaja Novotny would TQ round one and two of the qualifiers to grab the overall TQ and after some tough semi finals, with the track becoming more and more bumpy, Kaja would also put his car on the 1 spot for the main final. Right from the start of the A-main Kaja, on a different tyre choice than in the qualifiers and semi, was able to gap the field but problems during the second and third fuel stop made things interesting again. With a last lap pass though Kaja was able to grab the win from Serpent’s Jiri Mara in second and Tomas Kapicka (Kyosho) in third. Elsewhere in the Junior class standings Frantisek Kalenda (Xray) would come out successful thanks to making the A-main.
