Evans take first EOS 2WD Buggy A-Main

Dustin Evans has taken the opening A-main in 2WD Buggy at the Euro Offroad Series in Sweden heading home Top Qualifier Ryan Cavalieri and Hupo Honigl.  Mixing it with fellow American Cavalieri for much of the race, the Team Losi Racing driver eventually took to the front when Cavalieri came short over the double into the Kyosho corner.  Evans tried a move just after the large Durango double and ended up tangling with Cavalieri, a move the Reedy Race of Champions winner said was a little too aggressive.

Noise restrictions force Euro 1/10th B track change

EFRA logo

EFRA have today confirmed that the European 1/10th scale ‘B’ Championships, due to be held from the 2nd to the 7th of May in Heemstede, The Netherlands has been relocated to another track in the south west of the country due to newly enforced noise restrictions at the track. These restrictions have seen 1/8th scale on road unable to run at the track at all and it now seems to have affected the 1/10th scale class as well. The new host for the event will be the MAC De Baanbrekers track in Rucphen, who have hosted some major championships in the past. To view the full statement click here (PDF).
