Picco welcome back Oliver Mack

Picco have announced the return of Germany’s Oliver Mack to their racing team for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. The former EFRA 1/8th scale A European Champion will power his Infinity ride using Picco’s Monza 3.5cc engine starting immediately.

Giovanni Verbrugghe wins at Euro Large Scale Event

The Euro Large Scale Event was held at the Mini Autodromo Jody Scheckter track in Fiorano Modenese, Italy last weekend. The race saw the running of Expert, Standard and Rookie 1/5th scale on-road classes and in the Expert category it was Giovanni Verbrugghe with the win in the main final, a lap in front of Marko Grigic in 2nd. Gianmarco Martelli came in 3rd overall to round out the podium result in front of 4th placed Michael Donovan.

Patrick Schäfer joins Xtreme Aerodynamics

Xtreme Aerodynamics are busy adding more top-level pilots to their racing team with the latest being Germany’s Patrick Schäfer. Owner of Shepherd Micro Racing, the 2019 IFMAR Worlds semi-finalist will deck out his 1/8th and 1/10th scale Shepherd nitro on-road rides using Xtreme Aerodynamics’ popular body shells for the remainder of the 2020 and the full 2021 season.

Masami Hirosaka releases his autobiography

Record IFMAR World and JMRCA Japanese National Champion, Masami Hirosaka has just released the first three parts of a multi-title autobiography about his racing life. One of the most well-known professional RC car racers of all times, Masami is a role model for decades of racers that can now get a pretty detailed idea of what Masami’s racing life was all about. Part 1 to 3 of the biography is available on Amazon in Japanese language with part 1 being made public in English language now also. The English language parts 2 and 3 are currently in production with Masami already working on parts 4 to 6 as we type. Xtreme Aerodynamics sign Dominic Greiner

Xtreme Aerodynamics have announced the addition of Germany’s Dominic Greiner to their racing team. The 2016 IFMAR World and reigning EFRA 1/10th Nitro Touring European Champion will be using the company’s popular body shells to deck out all of his Capricorn nitro and electric rides starting immediately.

EFRA announce 2020 40+ Euros cancellations

Due to the ongoing World-wide Corona pandemic, the EFRA has announced the cancellation of all European Championships for 2020. This means that, following the cancellations of the 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring, Large Scale On-road and Off-road, was well as the Nitro Buggy and IC Track Euros, also the 2020 40+ IC Track and 40+ 1/8th Off-road events will not take place this year.
