Sweep has released its new Orbit 1:10 Offroad buggy rear tyre for outdoor oiled track or hard packed dirt track. Its new bar type patterns provide maximum forward bite with their all new M compound which improved longer lifespan and less ballooning on high speed. New M compounds are available in gold-M (ultra soft), yellow-M (super soft), Silver-M (soft), blue-M (medium).

The opening round of the UISP 1:8 GT Italian National Championship in both GT and GTE classes took place over the weekend with Natanaele Senesi dominating to take the TQ and win in both categories. The Xray team driver took the win at a temporary track that was build in Gropello Cairoli, in the north of Italy. Senesi topped all four rounds of qualifying with his Senesi Motorsport powered X-RAY GTX8 ‘23 and his Hobbywing powered X-RAY GTXE ‘23 and would confirm both the results after the finals. The podium in the GT class was completed by Adriano Tarragoni in second and Filippo Beretta in third, while Fabrizio d’Aietti in P2 and Stefano Tallarico in P3 completed the GTE podium.

The concluding rounds of the 2023 BRCA LMP12 nationals took place last weekend at the new venue of the Chesterfield club in Alfreton. The Chesterfield club have been hosting 12th circuit nationals for many years, so it was great to be able to visit the club in their new venue following the redevelopment of their previous home. Stock and modified classes were on track with around 75 drivers competing at the event. This weekend’s racing would see the conclusion of the Stock national championship which was the closest fought competition, having had four winners from four rounds up to this point. Going into the final two rounds the championship was tied between Andy Smith and Mark Stiles, with a further four drivers having the potential to win the championship. The Chesterfield club now have a smaller track area than previously but laid a technical track that was all about carrying corner speed to maximise lap time. It was a track that rewarded the best drivers and perfect for the championship battle.
Jared Tebo has announced that 2023 will be his last year racing as a professional driver. One of the true stars of the sport enjoying a very lengthy reign as as one of the best offroad racers in the world, the American has said 2023 will be his ‘farewell tour’. The now 36 year old arrived on the RC scene at the age of 13 and since then has lived the ultimate dream of any young kid starting out in racing. Making the ‘tough decision’, he said he is ‘fully content’ with his racing career and feels that he has nothing else ‘left to prove’ but mentally he is not enjoying the mindset needed to race competitively at the elite level. Having had the opportunity to work with Jared for over half of his racing career, the first time being when he was Top Qualifier at the 2010 IFMAR 1:8 Offroad World Championship in Thailand, Red RC congratulations Jared on his racing achievements and would like to say thank you for all the racing entertainment over the years. RC Vision has announced a new innovation for their 2023 King of Clubs RC Series, working together with the British Radio Car Association (BRCA) to nurture the best 1:10 electric onroad racing talent across the south of England and the UK, while also promoting grassroots sports participation. The King of Clubs RC Series will feature an innovative new class called Club Mod, which will serve as a stepping-stone for stock drivers looking to transition to the blue-ribbon modified class and showcase their skills. To further elevate the competition, RC Vision will be offering a unique opportunity for three drivers from the 2023 King of Clubs Club Mod class to be selected for a 3-driver team that will attend a signature round of the 2024 ETS racing series as an official BRCA team, with financial and technical support. The signature round is expected, subject to confirmation, to be at the legendary Dutch track, AMCA Apeldoorn.
Turkish large scale specialist manufacturer MCD Racing has released this new XT5 Max Rally bodyshell. The new bodyshell is designed with a 1:1 scale realism of a new generation World Rally car. It is developed to compete at the highest level of the new large scale rally class and MCD Racing has used their experience from the first generation to give a new feeling of the design. Sophistication and refinement was the key to creating this rally body. With the wide wheel arched and elegant lines that runs through the body, you get a new feeling on the race track. In addition to the design look, MCD worked to develop the body so that it has compact aerodynamic advantages.
T-Works has produced these aluminium Shock Spring Retainers for the Xray X4 ’23 1:10 electric touring car. Machined from high quality aluminium and finished with black anodising, they come as a set of four or as a 2 piece set with a -1mm offset that is for use on the rear shocks only.

Exotek Racing has released a new updated 2023 bodyshell for their F1Ultra 1:10 Formula Kit and similar dimensioned narrow style F1 pans cars. It should fit other brands of chassis with some trimming for those whose side links are a maximum 113mm wide. Two scale option side intake styles are included, the scooped RB style via add on molded trims and classic flat style by not using the added trims. Modern design with slim style side pods with the addition of high downforce aero details for good looks and high performance. Made using premium polycarbonate that is a proprietary custom blended polycarbonate only for Exotek that is much stronger and longer lasting than other similar thickness polycarbonate. Made of lightweight .7mm polycarbonate, the painted body shown in the pic is only 33g including the paint, stickers and helmet.
