Dave Vera joins Wallace Motorsports

Wallace Motorsports welcomes 4-time ROAR US National Champion and FSEARA director, Dave Vera, to the Wallace Motorsports family. Dave brings years of RC experience to the team along with his ambition to continue to grow the hobby. Wallace Motorsports is excited to have Dave on board and representing the Wallace Motorsports brand while piloting the Infinity cars from now on. Dave had the following to say:

Brent Sianez doubles at US Turf Wars

RC Madness of Enfield, Connecticut hosted the US Turf Wars last weekend, attracting over 100 entries for the 1/10th off-road modified and stock classes. In 2WD Modified Buggy it was Keith Smart with the overall TQ, however the single 5-minute A-main event saw Brent Sianez taking the winning honours, leaving behind 4th place qualifier, Tyler Marcy in 2nd. Keith Smart had to settle for 3rd overall.

Vishal Singh wins at Heart of America Series Rd2

The second round of the Heart of America Series was held in Lincoln, Nebraska last weekend. In 1/8th GT it was Mugen’s Vishal Singh with the overall TQ and he also walked away with the silverware after the 20-minute A-main event, leaving behind 4th place qualifier, Patrick Werner (Xray) in 2nd, some two laps behind. In 3rd it was Ken McKenny (Serpent) who would round out the top 3 result.

Daniel Blalock wins at Revelation Raceway June club race

The Revelation Raceway of Montclair, California hosted their June club race last weekend, attracting 65 entries in total. In the 1/8th E-Buggy class it was Daniel Blalock with the overall TQ and he also came out in swing in the single 10-minute A-main event, leaving behind 6th place qualifier, Eric Sypherd in 2nd, some 26 seconds behind. 5th place qualifier, Tony Bhusakaew came in 3rd overall to round out the top 3.

Cole Ogden TQs & wins at SOS Rd2

Round 2 of the Southern Off Road Series was held S&B RC Speedway in Piedmont, South Carolina last weekend. The event attracted nearly 300 entries and in Pro Nitro Buggy it was HB Racing’s Cole Ogden with the overall TQ after winning both qualifying rounds and he also walked away with the win in the main final, leaving behind the Team Associated duo of Evan Vail in 2nd and Brandon Melton in 3rd.

Ronda Drake wins at Revelation Raceway club race

Revelation Raceway of Montclair, California held their June club race this past weekend, attracting 65 entries. In Open Nitro Buggy it was Mugen’s Adam Drake with the overall TQ, however after the 20-minute A-main event it was Adam’s wife Ronda (Mugen) with the win some 4.8 seconds in front of Xray’s Daniel Blalock. Further 19 seconds behind, David Carrasco Jr. (HB Racing) would round out the top 3 result while Adam had to settle for 4th overall following some issues in the second half or the main.

Marcus Kaerup sweeps Danish EP Offroad Nats Rd1

The Odense RC Minirace Center hosted round 1 of the Danish Electric Off-road Nationals this past weekend. Sunday saw the running of the 4WD Buggy and Racing Truck classes and it was young Marcus Kaerup (Team Associated) with the overall TQ in 4WD Buggy after winning all three qualifiers, leaving behind Frederik Hovgaard (Yokomo) in 2nd and Mad Koue (Team Associated) in 3rd. The A-finals then saw Marcus with the wins in A1 and A2 for an early overall victory as Frederik and Mads finished in 2nd and 3rd overall respectively. The Racing Truck class was won by Jan Larsen from Soren Hempel and Hendrik Rasmussen. Already on Saturday it was Marcus Kaerup with the win in the 2WD class as Jonas Kaerup and Frederik Hovgaard came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Frederik Brolos Mikkelsen wins at Danish On-road Nats

Round 2 of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals was hosted by the Glostrup Racing Club this past weekend. Actually the season opener, after round 1 had to be cancelled due to the Corona virus pandemic, it was Awesomatix driver, Frederik Brolos Mikkelsen with the overall TQ in the Touring Super Stock class following a clean sweep in the qualifiers. The triple A-mains again saw Frederik excel as he was able to bring home the wins in all three legs to take the overall victory from the Xray duo of Kevin Nielsen in 2nd and Patrick Folman in 3rd.
