Sweep Racing R3-WIDE 26mm TC tyres

ISTC World Championship tyre supplier Sweep Racing has announced the release of the R3 belted rubber Touring Car tyre in a new Wide 26mm rubber.  Intended for use on Tamiya TT-02 or similar slower speed 1:10 beginner level onroad cars, the R3-WIDE tyre has a width of 26mm with a strong belt that is the same as their 24mm TC racing tyres and also uses the high-end compounds that they are using in the 24mm TC tyre.  The bigger outer diameter and rounded sidewall generates much easier drive and makes for longer lasting lifespan on both carpet and asphalt surfaces.  The new tyre is available in CX32 carpet compound and D-series asphalt compounds.

JConcepts RC10B7 Alu C & D Mount Blocks

JConcepts has added to its line-up of accessories for the RC10B7 from Team Associated with these aluminium C and D mount blocks.  Available in blue and black colours, the precision machined mounts are carefully crafted to accept the standard Team Associated pill inserts. The suspension mounts are a critical piece of any vehicle providing the base for adjustments such as toe-in, anti-squat and wheel base so a stout suspension mount can go a long way to assuring your vehicle is technically correct and up to specification.  At 3.8 grams, the C mount is lightweight enough for the weight conscious racer but beefy enough to stand-up to the rigors of high-end modified buggy racing.  It is designed as a -1 degree mount so it’s possible to realize alternate adjustments compared to the stock suspension mount.  The D mount weighs in at 3.3 grams.  Both mounts feature chamfer highlighted edging which improve the curb appeal and bring out the luster in any show or race ride.  JConcepts logos and identification markings are located throughout to show brand loyalty and authenticity.

JConcepts RC10B7 Protector Body

JConcepts have gone retro with its latest body shell creation with the release of the Protector body for the Team Associated RC10B7.  The buggy that started it all in 1984 is always in style and JConcepts appreciates a stroll down memory lane and revisits the golden years of RC Racing.  The new body shares some styling cues from the original days of the RC10, and RC10B4 as some of the most popular kit bodies of all-time.  This is a CAD design body shell but has its roots set in the 1980’s, 1990’s, and early 2000’s with rear biased cab, smooth hood, and progressive appearing sidepods.  The front nose piece is feathered on the sides and chamfered to fit between the top deck and slides under the shock tower.  The roofline is centre channeled with a slight lip upfront which provides plenty of windshield visibility and clearance.  The side windows are sized for coverage and to add low-profile looks.  The Protector pays homage to a selection of high-performance bodies from the golden years which featured cut to the chase desert buggy design and appeal.  Included in each package are two of the popular Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings that are designed to mount to the standard RC10B7 rear wing mounts and geometry.
