JConcepts Dirt Webs red compound

JConcepts popular Dirt Webs tyre is now also available in the “soft outdoor” red compound that debuted at the 2014 Cactus Classic. The new compound works alongside the blue, however, it is much more friendly in warm/hot conditions as seen at outdoor events, providing more stability and better reaction for quicker laps. The red is not a replacement for any compound but used as an alternative in warm and hot weather conditions and abrasive tracks it is available for the 2WD front, 4WD front and 2WD/4WD rear Dirt Webs.

Team C infrared temperature gun

Team C infrared temperature gun

Team C now have an infrared temperature gun available. The device offers a large LC display and a specially shaped sensor head that helps to insert the gun into the engine’s cooling head for precise temperature measurement in the glow plug area. While being of good use for nitro racers, the gun also comes in handy to control the temperature of electric motors and speed controllers as well as tyres and electric equipment. The gun comes with a handy Team C branded transportation bag.

RB Energy 100C hardcase LiPo battery packs

RB have two new Energy range high-performance hardcase LiPo battery packs available in the form of a 2S and a 4S pack. Both are made from 6400mAh cells with 100C discharge rating and they come in plain black cased with chrome RB stickers. The 2S pack measures 138x46x25mm and is equipped with 4mm connector tubes while the 4S pack measures 137x46x49mm. The latter is ideal for 1/8th applications and comes pre-wires with a balancer connector and a high-currrent Deans-type T-plug.

Tekno CNC delrin shock cartridge set

Tekno introduce a CNC-machined shock cartridge set for the dampers of their 1/8th and 1/10th vehicles such as the EB48 and NB48 buggy and the SCT410 short course truck. They are a direct replacement for the stock guides on all Tekno RC vehicles and will reduce drag on the shock shaft and improve suspension efficiency in all conditions, resulting in improved handling.  They are also more durable than the stock parts and one package will cover a full set of four shocks.

Yokomo B-Max4III Lightweight Spec combo kit

To celebrate the win at last weekend’s JMRCA 1/10th Buggy nationals, Yokomo release a special combo set of their successful B-Max4III 4WD buggy. Based on the standard kit the set also includes the recently released lightweight chassis kit that allows to use both saddle and shorty LiPo batteries. While the standard kit is best used in low-grip conditions the lightweight chassis is designed for high-grip tracks with artificial surface such as astro turf or carpet. The Lightweight Spec combo kit therefore allows the driver to adapt the buggy to virtually every track condition right from the box. The kit will ship on August 1st.

Arrowmax B-Max series lightweight driveshafts

Arrowmax have new lightweight driveshafts for Yokomo’s B-Max series of 2WD and 4WD buggies available. Being made of high-quality spring steel and offering a lightweight design the driveshafts feature blue anodised aluminium cross pin retainers to securely keep the pins in place. The shafts are available for the front of the B-Max4 and as an universal variant for the rear of the B-Max2 and B-Max4.

GForce Wi-Fi Link module for TS series controllers

Made for the use with GForce’s TS120A, TS90A and 1S120A speed controllers is the the Japanese manufacturer’s new Wi-Fi Link module. The device allows to adjust the speed controller’s software parameters using an iOS or Android-based mobile device. Plugged into the programming port of the ESC and mated with your mobile device the module is used in place of the standard programming box for a more convenient adjustment of the various throttle, boost and brake parameters.
