Tanner Day & Harley Yoshii successful at NIS Rd3

The third round of the Northwest Indoor Series was held at the Tacoma RC Raceway in Tacoma, Washington last weekend, attracting nearly 170 entries for the multiple 1/10th scale buggy and truck classes. In the premier 2WD Mod Buggy class it was Tanner Day who took the overall TQ and with 2-1-6 finishes he also snatched the overall win, after winning the tie-breaker with Jackson Andres who scored 1-2-2 finishes. Harley Yoshii would come in 3rd overall with 3-4-1 finishes in the triple A-mains, making it an all-Yokomo top 3. 4WD Mod Buggy had Harley Yoshii taking the overall TQ and also the overall victory after winning the first and third A-main while coming in 2nd in A2. Tanner Day won A2 for the overall runner-up spot as Jackson Andres came in third after scoring a DNF in the opening A-main, completing another all-Yokomo podium.

Kevin Brunsden TQs & wins RWMCC Winter Series Rd2

Round 2 of the popular RWMCC Winter Series was held in Slough, UK last weekend. Agama’s Kevin Brunsden made a clean sweep in the Nitro Buggy qualifying, taking wins in all four qualifiers for the overall TQ from Tekno RC’s Michael Lightfood. The 20-minute A-final then again saw Kevin leading the way and taking the win with a 30-seconds margin on Michael. Behind the two it was Taro Cradock (Kyosho) who would round out the top 3 result some 11 seconds behind Michael.

Schneider & Haemers win at NRW Offroad Cup opener

The opening round of the popular NRW Offroad Cup was held at the Racing Arena Limburg indoor carpet track in Sittard, The Netherlands over the weekend. The race saw the running of Modified and Stock classes and in 2WD Mod Buggy it was Marcel Schneider with the overall TQ from Rik Haemers on P2. The opening A-main was won by Mick Burbach, however Marcel stroke back in A2 and A3 to take the overall win from Mick in 2nd while Rik Haemers completed the top 3 results.

2020 Muchmore Invitational – Announcement

NW Hobbies in Albany, Oregon will host the 2020 Muchmore Invitational on the weekend of the 1st of March. Muchmore’s Joe Pillars has helped put on these type of events in the Northwest for over 10 years with great success and the organiers couldn’t be more happy to work with him again. The fun and unique race format offers multiple classes of racing with the same vehicles to provide more time on the track and less time in the pits. Classes run include Invitational 2WD Mod Buggy, 2WD Mod Buggy, 40+ 2WD Mod Buggy, 13.5T Wheeler no-timing/no-boost, 13.5T Truck no-timing/no-boost, 17.5T 2WD Buggy no-timing/no-boost, and 21.5T 2WD Buggy no-timing/no-boost. STRC roll out new Outcast 6S optionals

ST Racing Concepts have announced the release of new high-performance optional parts for the popular Arrma Outcast 6S bashing truck. The machined aluminium option parts takes the durability, performance and looks of the Outcast to the next level. CNC-machined front and rear chassis protector plates cover the front and rear end of the main chassis, taking the abuse of hard landing without damaging the expensive main chassis. The CNC-machined aluminium front and rear chassis brace increase the durability and rigidity of the truck while adding great looks to the chassis. The steering response and power from the steering servo can be increased with the CNC machined aluminium steering servo mounting plate, which replaces the flexing stock plastic piece, and it can be combined with the CNC machined aluminium steering post upper brace for a solid steering setup. All parts are available in gunmetal, red or silver anodising.

FEMCA IC Track Championships – Announcement

The FEMCA IC On-road Championships and IFMAR 1/10th 200mm Pre-Worlds will be held as a joint event at England Park Raceway, Brisbane, Australia from May 26th to 31st. The Pre-World Championship for 1/10th IC Track Touring Cars will be run concurrently with the FEMCA Championships for 1/10th and 1/8th scale IC Track classes. All classes will be run using controlled fuel and tyres and more information can be found on the official event website here as well as on social media here.
