Following the release of the Pin Point carpet tyres for 1/10 scale buggies Pro-Line now also introduce an 1/8 buggy variant. Designed to excel on artificial surfaces such as carpet, astro turf and wooden floor the tyre comes as pair in Pro-Line’s new Z3 compound and includes a set of blue closed cell inserts.

RPM soon have this cool looking fake side exhaust available. The through-the-body mock exhaust tips are a simple, ultra-lightweight scale accessory designed to look like a set of side exhaust pipes are cut through the body, exiting from some custom flanges that provide a detailed, 3D oval exhaust appearance. When used on 1/10th vehicles the exhaust resemble a 3″ pipe while the flange surrounding the pipe is a design that supports the pipe, yet provides a shoulder for the body mount to keep the pipe in place. Each exhaust kit comes with two complete exhaust tips and instructions for properly mounting the tips to the body.
Pro-Line was busy adding more short course related option parts to their already impressive line-up by introducing new carbon fibre parts for their Pro-2 truck kit along two new tyres and pre-cut bodyshells. Starting with the parts for the Pro-2 short course truck, first up are front and rear shock tower braces cut from high-quality carbon fibre. The braces are ideal for high-bite track conditions as they reinforce the suspension assembly for a more consistent handling as it eliminates unwanted flex. Available as separate front and rear part the braces are direct bolt-ons. Also new is the a carbon fibre transponder mount that attached right on top of the servo mounts. While adding a certain amount of rigidity, it first and foremost acts as a sturdy base for your personal transponder. Like the shock tower braces the PT mount is a direct bolt-on.

Panther introduce the Ocelot, a 1/10th buggy rear tyre with an array of small and dense squared pins for high forward traction and a consistent side bite feel. Designed for both indoor and outdoor tracks the tread will excel in dusty to loamy conditions and is therefore available in Panther’s full range of compounds from medium soft to super soft including a special clay rubber for indoor tracks.

French company RB introduce their updated nitro fuel range that is now mixed using the latest generation lubricants and additives for improved performance and reduced friction within the engine. The new viscosity optimises fuel consumption and improves the reliability at high pressures and temperatures. RB also did away with the orange colourant the fuel was known for to avoid any efficiency decreasing residue. The updated fuel is available in several 16% and 25% pre-running, buggy and on-road variants with a 30% buggy fuel being available also.

Now available from DMS Partz comes a clear lexan undertray for the X-Factory X-6 Cubed buggy. Designed to keep dust, dirt and moisture away from the chassis the tray sports cut lines marked for both high and low sidewalls, with multiple location holes added for easy installation.

Powerstar soon have the PM-1207LV low-profile servo available. Coming in an all-alloy case the standard voltage servo offers a speed of up to 0.074s/60° and a torque of 12kg-cm – both at 6.0V input. The features include a digital circuitry and a brushless motor while the sturdy case design makes it ideal for on-road and off-road applications alike.

Exotek have first option parts for the Serpent SRX-2 buggy available in the form of aluminium servo mounts and a carbon fibre battery strap. First up are the servo mounting brackets, machined from high quality aluminium the parts come in Serpent orange or glossy gun metal finish and replace the stock plastic mounts with a more rigid and cooler looking alternative. Also new is the Flite LiPo battery strap for the rear motor SRX-2. Weighting in at only 4.8g the carbon fibre part is not only over 5g lighter than the stock part but it also gives added clearance allowing to run the battery in a more forward position while mounting the speedo behind the battery for improved balance. The brace is usable with stock or aftermarket thumb screws.
