Alain Sarafyan sweeps Turkish Buggy Nats Rd4

The recently renewed Luleburgaz track played host to round 4 of the Turkish 1/8th Buggy Nationals, held in Nitro and Electric classes. In the Nitro Buggy class it was Alain Sarafyan with the win from Serkan Tumer in 2nd and Can Soykal in 3rd. Over in the E-Buggy category it was again Alain with the win at round 4, leaving being Ilker Ozcan in 2nd and Serkan Tumer in 3rd.

Based on the highly successful Diablo body, the Super Diablo features an updated front end design that offers even more steering response while retaining overall balance and corner speed. The body is available in lightweight and ultra-lightweight variants, uncut or pre-cut for most of today’s 1/8th on-road kits.

MOD 5ive-T/B Everlast M1.5 pinion gears

Coming from MOD are their new Everlast M1.5 pinion gears for the popular Losi 5ive-T and B models. Made from hardened alloy steel and coming heat-treated for ultimate wear characteristics the pinions not only last about 10-times longer than the standard gears, adjusted gear patch dimensions also improve spur gear to pinion contact. The pinions are also of proper dimensions to work with both OEM and aftermarket bells and front carriers and they help to prevent premature gear wear. The gears will become available in 17T to 20T specification.

Schaffner Racing Products wheel well markers

Schaffner Racing Products have introduced their new touring car wheel well makers. They were designed to accurately mark the correct position for trimming the wheel wells on touring car and USGT bodies. The unique design allows to easily see the tyre’s edge as well as the centre of the axle, to verify that they are accurately placed. The markers are 3-D-printed and they come in sets of two.

Team Powers Actinium V3 12.1mm option rotor

Made for their Actinium V3 series of motors is Team Powers’ new 12.1mm option rotor. Measuring 12.1x5x24.5mm the rotor will provide a smooth power band, making it ideal especially for 1/12th scale pan car applications. The rotor comes with a marked rotor shaft for easy identification and it is available now.

Team Bomber TB-M Type R 225mm WB M-class body shell

Japanese company Team Bomber have announced the release of their new TB-M Type R 225mm wheelbase M-class body shell. Resembling a European-style hatchback touring car the body is performance oriented yet with looks to match. Included in the body set come two different rear wings, a straight and a curved design, that allow to create different looks and downforce levels. Other features include lightweight wing mounts, window masks and a decal sheet. The body is usable with pretty much every 225mm wheelbase M-class touring car.

2019 JConcepts Turf Nationals – Report

Each year, the first weekend of September holds one of the best-kept racing secrets in RC – the JConcepts Turf Nationals. It’s not your ordinary race as it’s a top-level race that’s focused on fun, exciting high-speed racing, and is consistently one of the biggest racing draws in the Northeast. Playing host to the Turf Nationals each and every year is radical RC Madness in Enfield, Connecticut and what a special RC facility it is. Between the numerous outdoor and indoor tracks, all together there are eleven possible tracks with the single sole purpose of having fun with your RC cars. The Turf Nationals always draws in some amazing talent from around the area and this year was no exception. Even with so much talent gathered at one track, the “chill” vibe is what makes Turf Nationals extra unique and one of the most fun races to attend. The friendly, warm atmosphere in the pits makes the time away off the track a whole lot of fun and when the sun is out – it’s just absolutely a show-stopping amazing experience.
