Bezerk RC Pro 10 Winter Series Rd2 – Report

The second round of the Bezerk RC Pro 10 Winter Series was held at England Park Raceway, Brisbane, Australia this weekend. The full long track layout was used for the event and a good field of Pro 10’s turned up to compete. After three rounds of qualifying Shannon Overson’s Bezerk Litesabre secured TQ with Clayton Hughes (Litesabre) second and Scott Tapsall’s (Xray X10W) filling out the top three. Clayton Hughes set the fastest lap time of the night in round three of qualifying with a 14.606 second lap. Heading into the third final it was one win each between Clayton and Shannon. Unfortunately in the decider Clayton’s Bezerk Litesabre had a mechanical failure while leading which handed the race and round win over to Shannon. Clayton secured second place for the round with Terry Norman finishing an impressive third place with his new 73RC chassis. All in all it was a fantastic night of super fast competitive racing with some very sportsmanship behaviour shown in the finals. The third and final round will be held on the 21st of September.

Thanks to Shannon Overson for the report.
