Yokomo BD9 2.0mm hard carbon fibre main chassis plate

Coming soon from Yokomo is a new 2.0mm carbon fibre main chassis place cut from a harder graphite material. Thinner than the standard kit carbon fibre chassis yet harder thanks to a special graphite material, the chassis is an in-between solution for tracks that require a harder chassis than the standard kit carbon plate, yet need a softer solution than an aluminium plate. In addition the reduced thickness allows to run lower roll centre settings which can help in lower grip conditions. The chassis is precision machined to the highest standards, ensuring straight and tweak-free alignment of all parts, ensuring equal left-to-right flex and steering characteristics.

Pro-Line Chevy K-10 & Metric rock crawler bodies

Pro-Line have introduced two new body shells for 1/10th scale trail trucks and rock crawlers. Pro-Line Slide Lock MC 1/8th buggy tyre

Coming from Pro-Line is the Slide Lock 1/8th buggy tyre in MC clay compound. The Slide Lock is a unique tyre design from Pro-Line that is made specifically for smooth, low grip tracks. It features a pattern of small, tightly packed hexagon and triangle shaped pins so drivers can lay down as much rubber as possible. The tread on the tyre is laid out wider across the carcass for a flatter profile overall compared to other Pro-Line 1/8 race tyres. Each hexagon pin has a deep sipe down the middle of the tread for added flex and grip on even the slickest of surfaces. The built-in tread flex means drivers can run harder compounds for longer wear and still have good traction when they need it. The large and stiff side pins reach far down the sidewall to reduce edginess as much as possible. The tyre comes including blue closed cell inserts and in the proven MC clay compound.

Pro-Line Super J & Octane drag racing body shells

Pro-Line have introduced their new Super J and Octane drag racing body shells for converted Slash-type short course trucks. Starting with the Super J, PL’s first-ever body dedicated to the ever-growing SC drag racing class, the full-blown Pro-Mod body will transform the Traxxas Slash 2WD into a scale quartermile beast. This retro custom hot-rod style body features a ton of scale details to give any SC drag car a super unique, race-inspired look. The Super J is a convenient 1-piece body design with no assembly necessary. Pro-Line recommend using a 2.2” buggy wheel/tyre combo on the front combined with a 2.2”/3.0” SC wheel/tyre in the rear for the ultimate scale hot-rod stance. However, to create a more scale look, the body is designed with a narrower track width than a traditional SC body and will require some modifications to the 2WD Slash in order to fit correctly. A list of modifications needed to fit the Super J can be found here.

Xray T4F 1/10th FWD touring car kit

Following a couple of body-on teaser images, Xray have finally unveiled their all-new T4F 1/10th front wheel drive touring car kit. With the FWD concept being a first for the Slovakian manufacturer, the car still shares about 90 percent of its parts with the company’s ultra-successful T4 4WD touring car platform, making spare parts stocking easy while allowing for a simple, efficient and easy to work on platform. The car was developed and tested in cooperation with Germany’s Harald Schmittgen and it makes use of a narrow 2.2mm thick carbon fibre chassis that features predrilled locations for the adjustable battery mounts and optional chassis weights, making for a super reactive and easy to control car in all track conditions. Performa Racing P1 nitro engines

Performa Racing have introduced their new P1 3.5 nitro engines developed by IFMAR World Champion, Adrien Bertin. First up is the Nitro 3 engine, a 3 port power plant that combines excellent fuel efficiency and run time with the traditional aggressive bottom end and strong mid through top end of a 3 port design. Made with weekly racing in mind the engine is ideal for both buggies and trucks. The second new engine is the P1 Radical 3 that provides a smooth, linear power band with strong bottom through top end. Excellent run time makes this engine ideal for buggy racers that like a smooth engine with power on tap at all times. Last but not least comes the Radical P1 7 port engine that provides tremendous torque with exceptional top end. A linear power band makes it very drivable despite the insane power of the 7 port design – ideal for buggy or truggy racing on large tracks. The engines will become available by mid-March with Performa Racing also offering specially tuned, prepared, and run-in engines carried out by Adrien himself.

Dash RS-Tuned TITC 13.5T Spec brushless motor

Dash have introduced their new RS-Tuned TITC 13.5T Spec brushless motor. Build to IFMAR specifications, Dash was able to fine-tune the motor to achieve best possible performance while meeting the 3400kV, 2.5A, and +/- 0.030 resistance rules, while also producing one of the most efficient motors available in the market. The machined aluminium can features a high airflow arrow design with large openings to guarantee maximum cooling efficiency, a lower weight and minimised power fading in high ambient temperatures. The redesigned stator helps to achieve a much lower internal resistance while increasing torque to enhance overall performance. The specially tuned motor is equipped with Japan-grade ball bearings and comes engraved with a TITC19 logo for easy identification. The motor will be available at the forthcoming TITC event in Thailand.
