oOple builds the Tamiya TRF 501X

Tamiya TRF 501X by oOple

Red RC isnt the build and review type of site, we like to just carry product and racing news and other interesting bits but we always make an exception for when oOple does a build and review article, they are the absolute best you can get. This time round Jimmy has built the all new Tamiya TRF 501X and as usual he has gone into all the fine details and pictured everything along the way and then compared it to other similar cars on the market, not only all that but he has thrown in an interview with team driver Hubert HÃ¶nigl too.

MLC 21 B7 Evo Buggy motor

Lamberto Collari has released a new buggy motor under his MLC product line. Made by Novarossi, his current engine sponsor, the 7 times World Champion has then done some hand work to the engine, given it his distinctive orange anodised head and then added a huge price tag to it.

SMD Starter box

Spire Model Distribution in the UK have produced their own starter box for off road cars and those with in line motors. Featuring the usual twin motors and belt driven starter wheel, this starter box is different in that it use 775 motors in place of the usual 540 versions thus giving 50% more torque and enabling you to turn over your brand new engine in even the coldest conditions. Available in February.

M28 truggy motor from Boss

Novarossi 21-5K off road engine

Our friend Philip over at Neo Buggy has once again got some scoopage, this time with this picture set from the new Novarossi 21-5K buggy motor. The successor to the massively popular Plus 21-5 engine, the main differences with the 5K are a P5 sleeve and an updated crankcase all meant to produce more power and overall better performance.

JConcepts Illuzion body for Jammin X1-CRT

JConcepts have announced the release of their all new Illuzion bodyshell for the Jammin X1-CRT truggy. The Illuzion body features a stadium truck style that combines hard edge racing lines with a front hood scoop. The roof of the body has been dramatically wedged or “Illuzionized” for that aggressive look. While the rear of the body has been designed for extra bed durability.

Piktor Rush 2 bodyshell tease shot

OK, i know i shouldnt fall for this but i have covered all the other news from Piktor regarding their Rush 2 and so i shall continue by showing a tease shot of the bodyshell from this super hyped buggy. The bodyshell appears, from the picture, to be relatively standard with the only major difference being the front, which coincides with the fact the the front of this car is completely different from other buggies and the fact that it will come with a mounted front wing. We will know more when they show the full body.
