Maclan Racing Graphene V2 LiHV battery packs

Maclan Racing have introduced their new Race Formula Graphene V2 LiPo battery packs in the latest 2019 chemistry. Maclan took their 2018 design and pushed performance to the next level with lower internal resistance, stronger run-time voltages, and more usable capacity. The 7.6V LiHV batteries are built using 5mm connectors, they are 10C chargeable and are available in all popular configurations, including standard stock and shorty, for both on-road and off-road applications.

Xray XB8 graphite composite front arms

Coming from Xray and made for their XB8 buggy are graphite composite upper and lower front arms. Moulded from a lightweight, graphite-reinforced composite material the arms improve suspension smoothness in dusty track conditions as they ensure a more free arm movement. In addition they increase stability, cornering speed and they are recommended for medium to very high bite track conditions. The arms are available separately and they are usable on the left and right hand side of the buggy.

2018/19 Essex Winter Series Rd3 – Report

The 2018/19 Essex Winter Series marked the half way point this weekend with the third round of the championship. With Elliott Harper and Olly Jefferies tied on points at the top of the championship, both were looking to get their 2019 campaigns off to a strong start. However, there was some surprise in the first qualifier when Elliott broke his Xray on lap two, it wasn’t Olly who took the lead of the group, but Associated’s Matthew White. Matt maintained his composure and took the round by a few tenths of a second over Olly’s Schumacher, with Kyle Branson taking third with his Capricorn chassis. Chris Grainger showed the improvements the Associated team had found by backing up his team-mate and taking fourth, with privateer Stefan Chodzynski rounding out the top five.

Reds Racing welcome back Cody King

Following the popular return of Cody King to RC racing, Reds Racing have announced the signing the former IFMAR 1/8th Nitro Buggy World Champion. Cody and his dad Paul were integral in the advancement of the Reds Racing product line since 2013 and Reds Racing are pleased to have them back on board to start the next chapter of the 2010 IFMAR World Champion’s career. SWorkz S14-3 soft front steering upper deck

Made for SWorkz’s S14-3 is a soft front steering upper deck made of Pro-composite carbon fibre material. The upper deck provides increased steering on carpet tracks due to being softer, allowing to fine-tune the buggy’s steering characteristics easily.

Fenix X1 & Mistral Classique conversion kits

Coming from Fenix are two new Classique conversion kits for the Xray X1 and Fenix Mistral formula pan cars. Developed to make use of older spec X1 and Mistral kits, the conversions use several donor parts such as the motor mounts, differentials and steering pasts, allowing to built a Classique kit with minimal effort. The X1 conversion can be used with all specifications up to the 2018 kit while the Mistral is fully compatible with its conversion kit. The conversion kits will hit stores by the time you are reading this.

SWorkz S35-T series CF lower arm covers

SWorkz have announced the release of carbon fibre lower arm covers for the S35-T series of trucks. Precision-machined from 1.5mm Pro-composite carbon fibre the option parts have two additional screw holes to adjust the lower arm’s stiffness, they come as separate sets for the front and rear of the trucks and they fit the S35-T, S350T and Zeus trucks.

Team Associated RC8B3.1 underdrive diff gear set

Team Associated have introduced the new underdrive diff gear set for the RC8B3.1 and RC8B3.1e. Great for low traction tracks, the underdrive gear set slows down the rear tyre rotation compared to the front, making the buggy more stable on low grip surfaces and also smoothing out the car’s responsiveness. The set includes one 42T ring gear and one 12T pinion gear that are compatible with RC8B3.1 V3 differentials on the RC8B3.1 and RC8B3.1e.
