PR Racing SB401-R 1/10 4WD buggy kit

Following a first teaser image PR Racing have released first information on their new SB401-R 1/10th scale 4WD competition buggy kit. A number of key components have underwent a redesign to create a faster, quieter and easier to maintain and tune platform while also greatly improving overall performance. The main focus has been set on the all-new narrow 2mm 7075-T6 aluminium chassis and composite side-pods, which utilise a carbon fibre re-enforced spine to control torsional and longitudinal flex. The additional flex has proved to increase grip, and make the car feel more balanced and easier to drive leading to faster, more consistent laps. Other features include new stronger and quieter transmission gears, a vented slipper assembly as well as 12.75mm diameter Type-R shock absorbers, new shorter and grey-coloured ball cups as well as new high-tensile steel turnbuckles. All that is topped off by an ultra low centre of gravity body shell. The kit is set for a release this Fall.
