SWorkz S35-3E series alloy steering servo mount

Specially designed for Savöx servos used in the S35-3E series kits is an aluminium servo mount from SWorkz. The mount is 2.5mm lower and features a specially-shaped hole to route the receiver wire through for easier mounting. The servo holder is usable with the S35-3E, S35-TE, S35-2E, S14-2, Apollo and Zeus kits.

2018/19 Xray Racing Series UK – Announcement

For the 2018/19 season of the XRS UK the popular series is going to have some improvements including a change of a venue. The races will be held on a large 30x16m indoor ETS carpet track with a large pitting area and in a heated, centrally located location. Saturday is race day and the series kicks off on the 13th of October at the Newbury RCC in Newbury, UK. More information can be found here.

JConcepts Bog Hog mega truck body shell

New from JConcepts is the Bog Hog mega truck body shell that fits on a host of popular chassis including the Axial SMT10. From the shop in Poplar Branch, North Carolina, Dennis Anderson has created another classic mega truck. Following in the footsteps of King Sling, Bog Hog is another animal forged in iron. The body fits most 13” wheelbase trucks and included in the package comes the clear Bog Hog body, painting window mask, front hood-scoop and a detailed Bog Hog decal set.

VSB02 .21 buggy nitro engine

World Champion Products have introduced the new VSB02 3.5cc nitro buggy engine. The power plant builds on the proven VSB01 and features a DLC-coated crankshaft, a new 5-port sleeve, and an optimised combustion camber, all designed by Rody Roem. Part of specifications are also modifications to the inner crankcase and an updated cooling head. The result is a more agile engine that is still easy to drive. In combination with the balanced bi-turbo crankshaft the engine is also very economic while delivering a wide power range.

Reedy HV 30mm motor cooling can

Coming from Reedy is their new high-voltage compatible 30mm motor cooling fan. It comes with a handy 195mm extension and is simple to install by plugging directly into the receiver where it operates off BEC voltage. Because it has HV capability, it can also be soldered directly to ESC battery terminals to achieve 24000 RPM and maximum cooling. Installing in the vehicle is as easy as double-sided tape or fitting it to a fan mount or heat sink.

Cutini doubles at South American Off-road Champs

The South American Off-road Championship was held in San Jose de Mayo, Uruguay last weekend. The weekend started off wet but the organisers made their best efforts to ensure good track conditions. Agustin Cutini (Mugen/Novarossi) would double TQ the Nitro Buggy and Nitro Truggy classes and he also came out on top after the A-main, leaving behind Nicolas Bregante (Xray/Novarossi) and Lucas Pons (Mugen/Ninja) in Buggy while the Truggy podium was completed by Federico Davico (HB Racing/Reds Racing) and Nicolas Bregante (Xray/Novarossi).

Trinity introduce new B6.1 option parts

Trinity have introduced a couple of aluminium, carbon fibre and titanium option parts for the Team Associated B6.1 buggy and other B6 based kits. First up is a 3-gear laydown/layback transmission motor plate. The 3mm motor mount features a build-in spur gear guard and heatsink grooves for increased cooling and airflow. The item is usable with the B6.1, B6.1D, T6.1 and SC6.1.

RC Lemans Series Rd2 – Report

Round 2 of the 2018 RC Lemans Series was held in Düren, Germany recently. The track recently underwent some refurbishment with new track barriers fitted and in time for the event the club also laid down a fresh coat of sugar water to up the traction. Saturday kicked off with the practice rounds in beautiful weather and after a couple of runs the traction came up really nicely, making for low lap times and smiling faces all around. Sunday race day again started off in sunny weather, however there was a chance of rain in the afternoon. In the Modified LMP1 class it was a 4-horse battled for the overall TQ between Timo Schad, Tim and Kai Altmann as well as Reinder Wilms and after three rounds of intense qualifying it was Timo on pole followed by Kai, Reinder and Tim.
