Leonardo Varga TQs & wins at Austrian IC Track Nats

Round 1 of the Austrian IC Track National Championship was held at the LAMAC Ring in St. Paul last weekend. A total of 43 drivers made their entry and in the 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring class it was Leonardo Varga securing the TQ in front of Christoph Rohrmoser and Franz Engel. The start of the A-main was very clean with Leonardo and Christoph pulling a gap from the rest of the field. Unfortunately, Christoph was later stopped by an engine-cut and thus lost the connection to the leader and after 45 minutes of exciting racing, Leonardo Varga crossed the finish line first with Christoph Rohrmoser and Franz Engel completing the all-Shepherd podium.
