Fillipos Issakidis wins Greek Touring Nats Rd2

The second round of the Greek Touring Car Modified Nationals was hosted by the RcManiacs track in Argos. During the three qualifiers the battle for the overall TQ was on between young gun Ioannidis and Greek champions Isaakidis and Doucakis. Eventually Isaakidis took the pole in front of Ioannidis and Doucakis. In the first leg Isaakidis made a mistake in the opening stages of the race so it was Ioannidis who took the lead and win with a really good pace, some six seconds in front of Paachristos and Mpakirtzis. At the start of leg 2 there was an accident involving a lot of cars so Kidis took the lead for two laps but got passed by Isaakidis who eventually finished 1st in the leg with Mpakirtzis in 2nd and Papachristo in 3rd. In the deciding third leg Isaakidis opened a 2-second gap on Ioannidis and remained in the lead till the end of the leg so it was Isaakidis who secured P1 overall with Ioannidis 2nd and Papachristos 3rd.
