ECX Barrage Gen2 RTR 1.55 scaler

The ECX 1/12 Barrage Gen2 4WD 1.55 Scaler crawler is built to tackle the most terrifying of terrain. This version builds upon the original Barrage scaler’s reputation with exclusive features. Perfect for entry level drivers looking to move into the growing scaler movement, this crawler can take on all challenges no matter the driver’s skill level. It uses a 1.55” wheel and licensed Falken Wildpeak M/T tyre/wheel combo, significantly refining the look of the body to wheel proportion. The Gen2 has axle housings that no longer require the wide wheel hex extensions. This strengthens the axles and provides more consistent steering. Larger servo mount and steering links allow for bigger servos while the Dynamite Tazer 390 size motor runs cooler and with more torque. A true 4-link suspension with improved articulation and strength is a substantial upgrade. From the brand known for its rugged durability, this scaler is a great introduction to extreme driving through any ruthless environment including rocks, woods, mud and the neighbourhood creek.

Coelho grabs victory at EOS Austria

Bruno Coelho has grabbed a somewhat unexpected victory at the penultimate round of the Euro Offroad Series in Austria.  Having had to concede to the impressive performance of the Schumacher team in qualifying, the reigning 4WD Champion would capitalize on errors by his rivals in the finals, capping off the weekend with a win in A3 in front of Michal Orlowski to claim an important second win of the season given he was absent from the third round.  Behind, Joern Neumann would finish second overall, the German unable to hold onto the second he needed in A3 to claim the overall win.  Adding to Orlowski’s frustrating run in the finals, the weekend’s 2WD winner would not even make the podium, some smart driving by Daniel Kobbevik in A1 & 2 rewarded with 3rd overall.
