Factory RC YZ-4 SF carbon fibre option parts

Factory RC have announced the release of new carbon fibre option parts for the Yokomo YZ-4 SF buggy in the form of front and rear shock towers as well as a LiPo battery strap. The shock towers are both cut from high-quality 4mm black carbon fibre and the front shock stay comes milled out to reduce weight and increase airflow onto the front of the body for additional down force while the rear variant is marked for easy identification. As for the battery strap, the part sports an opening to allow in-car charging while using the balance port of the battery so there is no longer need to remove the back or strap to charge in the car. The brace uses standard hardware and is compatible with both standard height or low profile shorty packs. All parts are equipped with Factory RC’s ”Leading Edge” chamfered edge for cool looks and greater durability.

Team Associated tease possible B6.1 2WD buggy

Team Associated have release a first teaser image of what could be the follow-up model to the popular B6 platform. With 2017 being an IFMAR 1/10th Buggy World Championship year many have already awaited a first vital sign of a B6.1 or even a B7 and now AE have started to unveil the latest incarnation of the legendary RC10 platform step by step as they did with the previous platforms. While the front end of the new buggy remains unchanged, Team Associated hint on a larger rear end revamp, stating “We love the front end of the B6, refined, simple, and incredibly adjustable, but for the rear end, we had some big plans! Some even questioned whether it could be done…so the engineers within #Area51 got to work. The result: Easier to work on Increased adjustability (more on this later) More consistent feel on track and MORE!”. The eagle-eyed of us would get a first taste of the changes to come when looking at Dustin Evans’ Reedy Race winning B6 that was equipped with new rear A-arms that feature inserts to adjust the lower shock angle. We bring you more updates on the buggy as soon as they become available.
