ARC R11 2018 aluminium upper deck

ARC have introduced an aluminium upper deck for the R11 2018 electric touring car. The item is cut from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it comes black anodised and with silver edge details. The part is especially useful when running a carbon fibre chassis on medium-low carpet tracks as it makes for a stiffer chassis assembly compared to an all-carbon setup while allowing for more torsional flex than an aluminium chassis.

Avid CPD 1/10th buggy slipper pads

Coming from Avid are the CPD Consistent Power Delivery slipper pads for many of today’s electric off-road buggies. The slipper pads are of a new material designed with the focus of providing a larger tuning window while also being able to handle higher temps. This allows for less slipper fade during a run and drivers don’t have to adjust their buggy’s slipper setting nearly as often to maintain the same track feel. The pads are available for the standard Team Associated and Yokomo slippers and also for Avid’s own Triad Evo units.

Exotek Rock Rey HD gearbox set & servo arm

Exotek have introduced a heavy duty front aluminium gearbox set and a heavy duty clamping servo arm for the Losi Baja and Rock Rey trucks. Starting with the gearbox set, the all-machined alloy gearbox delivers extra durability and precision gear mesh and alignment – the alloy construction insures the drive shaft gear maintains 100 percent teeth engagement against the diff gear to eliminate the problem of worn gear teeth and poor gear mesh. Additionally, a larger 11mm bearing is included to better withstand the forces of high powered motors on the input shaft to reduce bearing failures there. The gearbox comes with a polished and anodised finish and it fits the 1/10th Losi Baja and Rock Rey kits.

MIP announce EB410 Pro4mance chassis bundle kit

Coming soon from MIP and made for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy is their new Pro4mance chassis bundle kit. The next generation 13.5 performance bundle chassis kit rebalances the car to give a stable and smooth drive. The new chassis re-configures the battery to the back of the chassis and lays the servo down. The end result is a more balanced weight between the front of the chassis and back resulting in a smoother drive and allows the car to rotate through corners better, brake faster, and accelerate quicker than standard EB410’s. The kit also features new carbon spine braces, new servo mounts and front and rear centre bones which come standard with MIP 1.5 Pucks. The kit is available for pre-order now and should hit stores soon.
