Repetti wins Euro Large Scale Series Round 2

The second round of the Euro Large Scale Series (ELS) took place in Luxembourg over the weekend where Edoardo Repetti took the win for Mecatech.  With the race attracting 74 entries, qualifying at Mini Circuit “Ville de Luxembourg” would see the former European Champion Repetti secure the TQ honours ahead of fellow Mecatech driver Rick Van der Bol, the Italian setting the fastest time on his Q3 run while his Dutch rival’s best run came in the second round.  Cedric Prevot from France completed the Top 3 at the end of the four rounds of qualifying.  After Super Pole it was Norway’s Sindre Undheim who lined up P2 for the half hour final but setting the fastest lap of the race Repetti kept Undheim at bay to win by 1-lap with Prevot making it an all Mecatech podium.

CRC M-200R World GT-R Chassis Kit

Iconic American pancar chassis manufacturer CRC has released its new World GT-R car, the M-200R.  A new car platform was a project that started over a year ago, the M-200R is a MetriCks based World GT-R car meaning it uses all-metric hardware and is for 200 mm wide racing on rubber tyres, hence the name M-200R.  In the front, the M-200R features CRC’s Ultra-tune suspension.  Just change the lower C/C plate (caster/camber plate) and your caster and camber are perfectly set.  A “4 -1” plate gives you 4 degrees caster and -1 camber. Switch to the 5 -.5 plate and you have 5 caster and negative .5 degrees of camber.  Go smash a bunch of barriers, and your caster + camber settings are still the same.  They have a wide range of different combinations available.  With a simple and quick change of the C/C plate (caster/camber), you can set caster and camber with precision and ease.  No setup station, no guessing, no fiddling – perfect camber and caster is machined into the pieces.

RG Evolution BK4R 1:5 scale RC motorcycle

New from Italian RC motorcycle manufacturer RG Evolution comes their all-new RG BK4R 1:5 scale RC motorcycle.  Describing the new bike as ‘a proper evolution’, the BK-4R gets a better chassis layout than its predecessor.  They’ve opened things up with more room to work, easier ESC install, and optional cross bracing so you can dial in your flex – Stiff for grip, loose for flow — take your pick.  Additional body support posts have been added into the front of the chassis to keep the fairing even more secure at high speeds.  The bike has better cooling with no more duct tape fixes needed.  The new 3-piece system is clean, cool and easy to swap when you bin it at turn three.  The Receiver Box is now standard in the kit.  At the Front End things have been updated with a new floating axle and the hub system tightens the front right up. No risk of fork bind or vague turns, just grip, lean and go.  There is an optional Double Rear Swingarm with a new driveline config meanng you can swap sides depending on track direction — plus extra lean angle and smoother load on the bearings.  Fixed Front Brake Rotor mean no more floaty drag and noisy disc.  What used to be a premium upgrade, NAI Fork System is stock for quality that is buttery out of the box.
