2014 Keilor Stock Shootout report

After a tough weekend of racing, the winners were Andrew Crowe (2wd, Kyosho), Mick Salis (4wd, Team Powers / AE) and Ashley Peeler doing the truck double with his Kyosho / JConcepts / Savox vehicles. 2wd: Andrew ‘Scoobs’ Crowe (Kyosho) has been on form lately, coming very close to winning the 2013 stock nationals. McPappy Racing McDominator Adam Liehr Edition

McPappy Racing has just released the latest McDominator in the Adam Liehr Edition. This chassis was designed for the use with the Savox SH-1250MG servo using the optionally available McPappy Savox servo case that is flush with the bottom of the chassis. Dropping it this low completely solves bumpsteer while running a flat servo plus it also lowers the centre of gravity. Savöx SW-1210SG waterproof servo

Savöx Germany introduce the waterproof SW-1210SG standard size servo. Actually being slightly taller than what is considered “standard size” the 42mm high servo offers 20kg-cm of torque and a speed of 0.15s at 6.0V input. Tasmanian State Titles – Report

…of year. This was the first ever AARCMCC Tasmanian state titles hosted on their small island. Modified results would count towards 2015 IFMAR 1/10 EP world rankings points for drivers. The control tyre for this event was the AKA Rebar in super soft compound in all classes with the exception of stadium truck where the tyre selection was open. 2WD Modified qualifying was close with Ashley Peeler in his RB6 and Leigh Cheeseman in his TLR22 trading blows. Savöx waterproof servos

Savöx introduce two new waterproof standard-size servos in the form of the SW-0230MG and SW-1210SG. Starting with the SW-0230MG (0.13s/8.0kg-cm) the high-voltage compatible item sports an all-plastic case, a single ball bearing and full metal gears.
