Savoya wins Rd5 to take French Title

Last weekend the TSAR held the fifth and final round of the French National Elite. A fantastic track and a wonderful event, in qualifying Reno Savoya battled with Tom Robin but in the end Reno took 4 out of the 5 rounds compared to 1 for Tom. The overall title was to be decided in this last final between Reno, Jerome and Yannick Aigoin. Rayan Medjoubi took the early lead, but following some issues Reno was able to take over the lead where he would stay to the end as Yannick Aigoin took 2nd in front of Eliot Marcon. Savoya’s win, a fifth podium finish from 5 races for the TLR/RC Concepts driver saw him clinch the overall championship for the second time in a row.

In the premier Modified class, Chris was able to start off strong by setting TQ following 4 rounds of intense qualifying. The mains were exactly the same as Chris won the triple A’s with Cristian Tabush and Johnee Fenimore rounding out the podium.
