ETS waves chequered flag on 10th season with first visit to Ettlingen

The chequered flag will be waved on the 10th season of the Yokomo Euro Touring Series this weekend (28-30 July) as the championship travels for the first time to the Ettlingen track in Germany. A regular host venue of the Euro Nitro Series, Ettlingen will become the 10th different outdoor circuit to feature on the ETS calendar over its hugely successful 10 seasons of existence. The 57th race to be put on by Uwe Rheinard and Scotty Ernst since creating the championship in 2007, the Ettlingen entry includes all four of the drivers who have lifted the prestigious ETS title in that period. While Bruno Coelho already wrapped up his second consecutive Volante Modified title last month at the Hudy Arena, the racing will be no less competitive with teams looking to end their campaigns on a high note.

Xceed RC spray guns & tapes

Coming from Xceed RC are two new spray guns as well as a range of tapes. Starting with the spray applicators, the guns are available in a basic and pro variant with both fitting a range of spray paint cans. The guns are meant to make for easier and more evenly paint application. Also new are 10mm, 18mm and 40mm wide masking tapes on 18m rolls. Last but not least comes a 2m roll of 20mm doubled sided tape.

Serpent SRX8-E 4mm lightweight aluminium chassis

Serpent have introduced a new 4mm lightweight aluminium chassis for the Cobra SRX8-E buggy. Machined from 7075-T6 alloy material and coming hard-anodised for wear, the chassis received some heavy machining, making it at 294g about 30 percent lighter than the stock chassis. A pocket under the rear differential area allows to use optional steel, aluminium or carbon fibre skid plates. The chassis will become available from early August.

Available from Radtec are 0 degree aluminium C-hubs for RTC-equipped Yokomo BD8 touring cars. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming black anodised and with silver edge details the parts replace the standard composite hubs with stronger and stiffer items in order to increase traction and improve drivability on high-traction surfaces.

Volante 1/10th formula tyres & side wall stickers

Volante have their all-new line of pre-glued 1/10th formula tyres available. They are of a low-profile design for greatly improved overall performance and a new look and they come mounted on black multi-spoke wheels. Shepherd Velox F1 V2 battery mount set

Shepherd have introduced the V2 battery mount for the Velox F1 formula car. It utilises a new carbon fibre battery brace/upper plate that accommodates a rubber O-ring to secure the battery pack while also shifting the pack about 2.6mm towards the rear for increased traction in lower grip conditions. Included in the set is also a redesigned shock plate with all parts being available separately for spares and repair.
