Yeah Racing M05/06 38T gear differential set

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for Tamiya’s M05 and M06 series of M-type cars comes the 38T gear differential set. The diff features an aluminium diff cover to prevent the gear cage from wrapping under load or in hot ambient temperatures while also ensuring a tightly sealing differential. Included are also aluminium outdrives, high-quality POM swingshaft protectors and moulded composite diff internals.

Trion 6000mAh LiHV LiPo battery pack

Trion have introduced their new 6000mAh LiHV standard-size battery pack. Made from high-quality 100C high-voltage Lithium-Polymer cells the battery is of standard 138x47x25.1mm dimensions and it weighs in at 274g for the 4mm connector variant and at 280g equipped with 5mm connectors. Although being a HV battery pack with a nominal voltage of 7.6V, allowing to use it with a charge end voltage of 8.7V, it is also good for the use with standard charge settings and 8.4V charge end voltage as it offers a flat discharge curve for more power towards the end of a run.

Xray Racing Series Italy – Announcement

Xray have announced the Xray Racing Series Italy, a 3-race event tour held between March and June. The series kicks off on the 19th of March at MiniRace in Casoria and concludes on the 25th of June in Rome. Classes run are Touring Modified, Touring Stock 13.5T HW team driver, Touring Stock 13.5T HW, Formula 21.5 HW and 1/12th pan car. More information and sign-up are available here.

Schelle Racing Innovations B6 Extreme 5mm gull tower

Coming from Schelle Racing Innovations and made for gull wing front arm equipped Team Associated B6 buggies is the Extreme front shock tower. Made from premium 5mm carbon fibre and offering an updated design with the outer two shock mounting holes removed and sporting shortened ears, the tower has reduced leverage, adding toughness during hard racing action. Optional holes for the Schelle upper wing mount add versatility and help to fine-tune the aerodynamic performance.

Team Magic E5-series 12mm & 14mm hex adapters

HRC Distribution have introduced several hex wheel adapters for the Team Magic E5-series of monster trucks. Machined from 7075 aluminium and sporting a clamping design the adapters are available as 12mm and 14mm variant to allow mounting Team Magic and also after market wheels. The 14mm adapters are a direct replacement for the stock parts while the smaller 12mm variants allow the use of other brand’s wheels. The hex adapters come in sets of four and in silver or black colour.

Helliwell wins at Northeast Indoor Regional Series Rd3

The third and final round of the 2017 Northeast Indoor Regional Series took the local drivers to Batley Buggy Club and the MB Models Raceway near Leeds. The 86 racers that attended the event were greeted with a testing track laid out with EOS carpet, jumps and a difficult 90 degree table top at the end of the straight. In 2WD James Helliwell and Jonathon Skidmore battled it out for TQ with James taking the honours with two 1st places and a 2nd to Jonathon’s 1st and two 2nd places. Unfortunately Jonathon would not feature in the A-final for long as a mechanical failure would take him out of contention early on. The crowd were treat to and exciting final nonetheless as Jack Hirst slowly hunted down James Helliwell for the full five minutes. James hung on though and took the win by only 0.2s in the end.

Serpent welcome “Stickking”

Serpent have announced the signing of Fung Wai Yin, better known as “Stickking” to their racing team. The Hongkong resident will campaign Serpent’s Project 4X touring car at races in Hongkong, China and around Asia.

Ethan Lefebvre wins Thornhill Winter Series

Over the last four month Winter Thornhill Racing Circuit in Hutto, Texas hosted their  7-round Winter Series that attracted some of the state’s fastest drivers. With constant performances Xray’s Ethan Lefebvre was able to bring home the overall from Tekno driver Edwin Hartman while Chris Allison (TLR) would round out the overall top 3 result.
