JConcepts MP11 P2 Body & Aero Front Wing

US offroad brand JConcepts has updated its P2 body shell for the new Kyosho MP11 1:8 Buggy platform along with releasing a new Aero Front Wing. The P2 was designed originally for the 1:10 racing with key features of the 1:8 P2 design being a tall stabilising fin on the rear of the body as well as a small mini fin placed behind the rear of the cab that does not interfere with the engine head. In the rear, the ramping feature creeps up behind the cab and engine head to create extra force and stability. The body arrives as clear polycarbonate with protective film and is available in standard formed thickness. The Aero Front Wing replaces the front of the body sticking through the shock tower, or how some vehicles have a nosecone. The design that has shown to produce enhanced steering characteristics on high-speed circuits or those demanding more force over the front tyres. The front scoop includes 2 pieces per package, so a driver has enough to outfit their nitro and e-buggy with the same package. The front wing can be painted, left clear or frosted for the desired look, fit, and finish.

Takashima D-13 Touring Car DLC Coated Shock Shafts

Takashima D-13 has announced the release of its new DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated shock shafts which are now entering full-scale production for a range of touring car and drift platforms. Developed to improve suspension efficiency and consistency, the new shafts are designed as a direct upgrade for demanding track use. The application of DLC coating delivers a significant reduction in surface friction, allowing for smoother shock action and improved response, especially over fine surface irregularities. At the same time, the coating provides increased surface hardness and wear resistance, helping to maintain consistent damping performance over extended use. Manufactured to tight tolerances, the D-13 DLC shock shafts ensure precise fitment across multiple platforms, offering racers and drivers a durable and performance-focused option.

MonTech Racing Trolley Bag

Well known Italian onroad body shell producer Mon-Tech Racing has introduced a new 3 drawer trolley bag. Thanks to a major technical upgrade, the internal structure is now fully molded, taking the construction quality to a superior level. These changes ensure maximimum rigidity, the new high-density molded structure is much more robust, keeping the bag perfectly in shape even under heavy load. Millimetre-accurate molding also eliminates friction so now the 3 drawers slide with a smoothness and precision never experienced before.

VP-Pro 1:8 Buggy/GT Starterbox

VP-Pro have introduced their new RS-944 Starter Box that has been specially developed for both 1:8 Buggy and GT car use. Housed in a sturdy and black-coated aluminium case, the starter box is powered by two 550 motors with the durable belt-driven rubber wheel making it easy and convenient to start the nitro engines. A newly developed battery mounting holder allows the use of different battery variants with the battery holder maximum dimensions at 142x94x27mm. The adjustable chassis holding posts allow quick adaptations of the starter box to pretty much all 1:8 Buggy and GT car models. The magnetic upper cover enables you to open or close it very conveniently and a carrying handle for easy carrying it. Upper Cover, Motor, Switch Contact, Rubber Wheel and Belt can be sold separately as spare parts.

Power HD supports Fenimore

Power HD has announced that they have teamed up with veteran US racer and multiple National Champion Johnee Fenimore to use their servos as part of his racing program. A veteran of 3 decades of racing 1:10 Modified Touring Car, 1:12, Nitro Touring Car and Offroad, based at the RC Car Club of America (RCCA) track in Texas, Fenimore is also well known for his support of racers including supporting Xray’s Chris Adam recent ROAR National title double at the track at the beginning of March. A finalist himself in Modified Touring Car, Fenimore will use Power HD GTS-2 and M8H servos across the various racing disciplines.

1080RC acquire HB Racing brand

French based 1080RC has announced that it has acquired the HB Racing brand. Under CEO John Ferte, known formerly for his work with Mugen Seiki and Kyosho, 1080RC will bring back the one time leading competition RC brand. 1080RC is an international design and manufacturing studio specialised in consumer goods and small Autonomous and Remote Controlled Unmanned Vehicles for Industrial, Leisure, Space and National Security with innovative approach from design to production. Corporate headquarters, along with the main distribution facility and product service center, are located in Europe and Asia.

Italian tyre manufacturer Hotrace Tyres has added to its 1:10 Offroad tyre range with the introduction of the new Astro V1. As the name highlights, racing on artificial surfaces require a lot of stability and forward-bite and the design team went to work to substantially improve performance. The new Astro V1 is light-weight , very versatile, and has shown it works in many natural and artificial conditions in low or high grip conditions. It is offered in 2 compounds, Soft (Pink dot) and Medium (Blue dot).
