CS Electronics, from Germany, have been in touch to inform us about their new F.1 Digital Setup scales that allows you to accurately check and adjust the tweak of your car. Essentially 4 digital weighing scales brought together, each wheel has its own blue back lit display showing the weight on each corner, with a max weight of 2kg per wheel and 6kg overall. Japanese firm Eagle Racing have announced the release of the new version of their setup board for 1/12th, up to 1/8th scale, chassis’. The board itself is similar to most setup boards on the market, but the unique part, apart from the printed measurement, is the built in tweak board. Pivoting inside the setup board it allows the user to quickly check their tweak without the need to setup a seperate tweak board, while the board itself features a flat level so that you know that you have placed the board flat, ensuring that the tweak is accurate. Our site partners, Kimihiko Yano, have got the lowdown on their site about this tweak board made by American company, Unity Tool Inc. As you can see from the picture, it is suitable for 1/12th scale chassis’ but also for 1/10th and 1/8th scale too, and basically allows you to measure and set your cars track width, camber, caster, toe in, toe out as well as helping you tweak your car correctly.
