Italian brand Pirani RC has designed a new radio plate suitable for Shepherd Velox V8.2 specifically for high traction conditions. The radio plate has a thickness of 3mm instead of the 2.6mm of the original version and is designed to improve the performance on high traction. Last weekend the second race of the Nitro West Masters took place at the EVMC Velp track. Again Tobias Hepp was the man to beat. In qualifying he claimed the pole-position for the 40min final. At the start of the final Tobi was able to defend the pole-position and started to pull away immediately. After 40min he crossed the finishing line in first position in front of fellow Shepherd racer Pieter Beekman with Bas Aalders completing the podium. Last weekend the first race of the 2021 Nitro West Masters took place at the Mck Dormagen track with 45 drivers in attendance. For Shepherd it was a great event with victories in two classes and the most cars of all competitors by far with 42% of the drivers were using a Shepherd car. In the 1/8th scale class Tobias Hepp showed a great performance with his Velox V8.2 all weekend long. Last weekend the ARC-Matrix -Trophy was held at the Miniatuodromo Jody Scheckter in Fiorano. With 70 drivers in attendance the first race of the year was well attended. In qualifying Andrea Pirani (Shepherd) managed to claim the pole-position with his Velox V8.2 in front of Mirko Salemi (Capricorn) and Francesco Tironi (Infinity). At the start of the final Andrea was able to defend his position.
