Team Durango 2WD mid motor buggy prototype

Team Durango 2WD mid motor buggy prototype

Team Durango have released a first sneaky teaser image of what could be the successor of the popular DEX210 2WD off-road buggy. The front end, with the characteristic chassis connection “button” looks to be taken over from the standard 210 car but the rear end, with the lack of a motor cooling plate, hints towards a new design that could house both a longitudinal motor or a “low rider” gearbox as seen on Yokomo’s YZ-2 buggy and one or the other aftermarket gearbox for the Team Associated B5M. We bring you more updates on this car as we get them.

Maltese 1/8th Nitro Offroad Champs Rd5 – Report

Round 5 of the Maltese 1/8th Nitro Offroad Championships was held at the MMORRC Rinella track in windy weather conditions and on a pretty dry and rough track. The qualifying had Kyle Spiteri, reigning the Maltese champion, taking the TQ in both the Nitro Buggy and Truggy classes. With Dillon’s victory, this year’s buggy title will go to the wire and will now be decided in the 6th and final round. Whoever wins between these two drivers will take the 2015 Buggy title. As for round 5 of the championship, Chris Zahra finished in the 3rd spot.
