Hiro Seiko introduce two new lightweight screw kits for the Yokomo BD7-2015 touring car. Coming as all-titanium or mixed aluminium and titanium set, both are made to significantly reduce the weight of the car with the titan set scrubbing around 13g of weight while the mixed set saves around 18g.

New from Radtec come aluminium wing washer sets for 1/10th touring cars and buggies. The sets include a pair of lightweight washers, 3x8mm flathead titanium screws and M3 locknuts to securely mount the wings to TC bodies or the wing stays of a range of buggies. The large diameter washers prevent the wings from excessive bending under high loads to make for improved aerodynamic efficiency. The machined washers are available in five different colours including red, orange, blue, light blue and black.

The first round of the JConcepts Challenge Norway saw Team Associated’s Daniel Kobbevik dominating the weekend by winning four out of five classes. The young man not only grabbed the maiden win in Norway for the new B44.3 buggy in the 4WD class but he also succeed in the 2WD, 2WD Racing Truck and 1/8th E-Buggy category – the latter being a new class in Norway run with 2S batteries and short course motors. In E-Buggy Daniel was hugely challenged by Oyvind Fast Olsen but a better tie-breaker handed Daniel his 4th win of the weekend. Last but not least in the Short Course class Dag Andre Karlstad brought home the win.

The Fall Classic was recently held at Revelation Raceway and it was TLR’s Adam Drake who TQ’d and won the 1/8th Expert Nitro Buggy class. One lap behind Shaun Kirkman ended the race in 2nd position while Cody Smith rounded out the podium in 3rd.

Starting with the T-shirt, it is made to celebrate Pro-Line’s 12 World Championship titles and it was first seen at the World Championships in Italy. Debuting at the recent IFMAR 1/8th Nitro World Championships in Italy with World Championship results, Pro-Line’s 1/8th Trifecta lexan wing is destined to give drivers another setup and fine-tuning option. From the mind of World Champion and Pro-Line team driver Ty Tessmann, the wing brings a huge amount of weight savings to the highest part of the buggy and massively lowers the car’s centre of gravity. This results in faster corner speeds and reduces the chance of traction rolling when faced with high-bite track conditions. The wing design follows the tradition set by the 1/10th buggy wing and features 3 strengthening ribs and 3 dimples that hang down on each side creating a “golf ball aerodynamic effect” under the wing for added down force and reduced high speed drag.

VBC Racing driver Max Kuenning took his Lightning10 World GT to victory at the 2014 International Indoor Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada. Starting from the 2nd position, Max took the lead on the 2nd lap and never looked back.
