Dutch Buggy Cup final round – Report

Dutch Buggy Cup final round – Report

The final round of the Dutch Buggy Cup was scheduled to be held at the MVW Astro turf race track in Purmerend. The weather forecast for Saturday was sunny and dry but rain was predicted during the night and when the drivers arrived at the track on Sunday morning the surface was damp and the temperature dropped to 16 degrees. This meant drivers were left with the choice to change to a wet setup or wait for the track to dry and use Saturday’s settings and at the end many drivers choose to only change the tyres and anti-roll bars to adapt to the damp track.

David Perez takes Spanish Touring Car Modified title

The 4th and the final round of the Spanish Electric On-road Nationals was held in Valladolid, Spain. During the practice it became clear that David Perez and Johnny Pastor both showed a very good pace making them the event favourites. In the following qualification David made his intentions clear by winning five out of the six rounds to take the overall TQ. For the finals David made some tweaks to the setup of his car but the changes actually slowed his pace allowing Johnny to catch up.
