Team Titan announce the all-new Blitz GSF 1/10th 190mm touring car bodyshell. Designed to meet the IFMAR’s global body specifications the body is ideal for a wide range of surfaces and layouts and it comes made from standard 0.8mm polycarbonate or lightweight 0.7mm material. The body includes wing, wing mounting hardware, window masks and decals.

Yokomo soon have two B-Max2 MR limited edition kits available in the form of the MR Ver.2 Factory Kit and the World Spec edition. Starting with the Factory Kit, the buggy includes a vast amount of option parts right out of the box as there are the aluminium main chassis, aluminium rear suspension mounts, aluminium idler gear, aluminium steering bellcranks, aluminium front brace, big bore Type X shock caps and captured universal driveshafts. Also part of the package is a gear differential with steel bevel gears, a dual pad slipper clutch, titanium-nitride coated shock shafts as well as a cab forward body and the Gokuraku rear wing. The second new kit and again a limited edition item is the World Spec kit that is based around the B-Max2 MR Ver.2 and that includes a 1-piece all-aluminium chassis with integrated front kick-up over the standard 2-piece aluminium and plastic part. The kit is specially made for all high traction surfaces such as astro turf and carpet tracks. Both kits will become available around December 2013 and January 2014 worldwide with the World Spec not being sold in Japan.

The Merlin Race 2013 took place at the Cartt track in Madrid, host of the 2014 Euros B. Over 135 drivers attended the race that also marked the track reopening and that was one of the biggest races in Spain in the recent years. After qualifying Miguel Matias (TLR) took TQ and in the finals the fight was on between Miguel, Jerome Sartel, Ricardo Monteiro and Daniel Vega until the very last laps. At the end Jerome Sartel (Agama) came in first some 16 seconds in front of Miguel Matias who was hardly chased by Ricardo Monteiro (TLR) who finished less that half a second behind Matias. Daniel Vega (Agama) completed the top 4 only another four seconds behind Ricardo.

The 5th annual Timezone Grand Prix was held at Timezone II on a large carpet indoor track. Brent Klingforth (Awesomatix) TQ’d and won the Spec GT class with Awesomatix teammates Jaybee Bryson and Franko Roberts locking out 2nd and 3rd respectively. Awesomatix also took the runner-up spots in the Modified Touring and 17.5T Touring A-mains with Kody Knudtson coming in 2nd in Modified and Brent Klingforth finishing 2nd in 17.5T.

Ryan Maifield, the current Dirt Nitro Challenge 1/8th buggy champion, ROAR National Champion, double Indoor National Series champion and 1/10th Off-road Worlds podium driver has signed a new contract with JConcepts. First round of the official Danish Indoor Championships was held last weekend in Faxe, on a non-permanent track in a large sports hall. The track had a nice flowing layout, with some technical chicanes and a big sweeper in the middle, and since the same layout had been used for over two years the traction was pretty good right from the start. During Saturday’s practice session it became clear that the battle for the win would be on between Soren Boy Holst, Danni Eyde, Caspar Morgen and Christian Lehm.
