On the recent ROAR Region 4 championships Team RGT driver Troy Schaefer had a good weekend in the 13.5T Touring class. He was able to gap the TQ and set his pace early and he also went on to win his class in style. Elsewhere in the Modified Touring class RGT driver Felix Law ended the event on the podium behind Nitro National champ DJ Apolaro and National champ Mark Burt.

Coming in the medium downforce Charge and high downforce Ultra Charge version, both are made from thick 1mm polycarbonate for maximised rigidity and improved downforce even in today’s ultra-fast modified racing. Reedy introduce their latest competition LiPo battery pack in the form of this 7.4V 5000mAh 65C pack. Built from lightweight high-performance cells the pack weights in at only 276g allowing to achieve a better left-to-right balance while offering the needed voltage for stock racing and modified classes alike. The hardcase pack sports standard 139x46x25mm dimensions, it is 2C chargeable and makes use of 4mm bullet-type connector tubes.

Pro-Line have just released this sneaky teaser image of their forthcoming Mugen MBX-7 body. Given some of the details visible the body will sport the distinctive and quite edgy “Phantom” design meaning it will very likely be a cab forward offering with an aggressively styled rear end and other performance enhancing aero gizmos. The 2nd round of the popular Baden-Württemberg Cup took place near Stuttgart in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. Hannes Käufler was able to win the nitro buggy class, while his Reds teammate Ralf Dennenmoser finished 3rd.

The 2nd round of the Swedish nitro on-road nationals was held on the track in Trollhättan near the former and now closed SAAB car factory. Friday afternoon practice was cancelled due to a lot of rain and the track was still wet on Saturday morning which led to no practice being held on the track before the race that saw a total of 5 qualifiers with the best 3 to count, followed by 20 minute semifinals and 45 minute mains. At the end of the 1/8th class final Marcus Lindner took the win from Magnus Bengtsson and Lars Haugen. Christoph Hedlund and Markus Hellquist completed the top 5 result.

RC Hobby Garden near Barcelona hosted the Catalonia Electric Off-road Championship on what is considered to be one of the best tracks in Spain. In the 2WD Buggy class Carlos Vidal took the TQ and winning honours while dominating the field. Max Ricca and Juanma Flores Lerma completed the top 3 result.

Mildura RC Car Club in Victoria, Australia, held the second round of the State Series and it was very competitive, with drivers such as Josh Pain from West Australia and Matt Griffin entering. Finally in the 2WD Modified class it was Team Associated driver Ray Munday who won, leaving some of the very fast guys behind.
