JConcepts MT chrome bumper sets

JConcepts continues to grow its offerings for the Monster Truck market with the introduction of new front & rear chrome bumper sets. The F-style front bumper set incorporates a plate steel look with chrome finish on an injection molded part. The plastic bumper is designed to work with bodies such as the JConcepts, 1979 Ford F-250, 1985 Ford F-250, and 1982 GMC. These body shells have a flat or bumper-less front-end and it allows an easy way to bolt-on the new piece to take detailing to another level. One of the elements of the design, a trimline is added on top of the bumper within the diamond plate surface which can be removed to outfit the chrome plated piece with a mock front winch setup. In addition, JConcepts added a front winch guard that installs with included hardware for a complete look. Another bonus, the front bumper accepts the RC4wd front winch (not included) for those who want the function to go with the look, fit, and finish of the bumper set. The two rear bumpers are very different, the angular corner bumper (1970’s style) appears more like a home-built piece with plated steel, chromed over with a diamond plate finish. Infinity Racing Rosso Trolley Bag

Infinity has introduced a new look Racing Rosso Trolley Bag with three drawers large enough to hold a 1:8 Nitro onroad chassis. This bag features caster wheels making it easy to move around even when storing all of your race cars, tools, spare parts, chargers, and other accessories. The new design features the Infinity logo in a bright racing rosso colour. The overall size of the trolley is 55x31x48cm with the internal Internal drawers measuring 50x27x13cm.

Tekno RC Kashima Coated Shock Bodies

Tekno RC has introduced Kashima coated shock bodies for their range of 1:8 Offroad kits. These new shock bodies feature reduced friction anodising that not only provides excellent wear protection but also improves shock action. While not every racer needs or requires such an upgrade, they offer those searching for that extra bit of consistency and performance with a suitable upgrade option. The new shock bodies are a direct replacement for TKR6016 / TKR6060 and require no additional parts or hardware.

Vejrak wins Hotrace Asia Cup

Meen Vejrak was the winner of the the inaugural Hotrace Asia Cup which was hosted at the Tom Racing Circuit in Hong Kong over the weekend. Attracting an international field, in qualifying it was the former 1:10 200mm World Champion who set the pace topping all four rounds of qualifying. Driving a Capricorn, the Maxima team driver would start from the TQ ahead Italy’s Carmine Riola, Australia’s Jeff Hamon and Hong Kong’s Lolo Sam. In the 45-minute final, Vejrak continued that form leading throughout the 45-minute encounter. Initially chased by Riola, the factory Infinity driver would retire with engines issues just as the race reached 1/3 distance. Promoting the Serpent of Hamon to second, Vejrak would win by a lap with the Infinity of Sam completing the podium. In 1:8 GT Wong Wai Kin took the win driving a Capricorn while in the 1:10 235mm final KK made it a clean sweep for the Italian manufacturer.

JConcepts Tekno & AE 1:8 Offroad front scoops

JConcepts has introduced new front scoops for the Tekno NB48 2.0, EB48 2.0, NT48 2.0, ET48 and Team Associated RC8T4 and RC8T4e. JConcepts kicked off The Dirt Nitro Challenge in Perris, California, with a new front scoop for the Tekno NB48 2.0 that replaces the front nose-cone with a front wing design that has shown to produce enhanced steering characteristics. The front scoop includes 2 pieces per package so a driver has enough to outfit their nitro and e-buggy with the same package. The front scoop can be painted, left clear or frosted for the desired look, fit and finish. Recently, Ryan Maifield captured the 2023 TNR championship in the 1:8 nitro truck class using the front scoop on his Tekno NT48 2.0. Reports from drivers revealed an increased feel and sensitivity in the larger sweeping sections and helped jumping attitude in the tricky small infield parts of the track surface.
