Team Losi JRXS Type-R – Options

Team Losi have announced the release of 2 new options for the companies 190mm EP touring car, the JRX-S Type R. First off we have the new front one way assembly which includes a precision machined and lightened aluminum housing with one-way bearings in either side and comes supplied with outdrives, shafts, one-way pulley and the dogbones. Serpent release brake pulley one-way set

Serpent have announced the release of this great add on for your Serpent 720 that puts a one way bearing on the brake pulley on the cars 2 speed axle. This set, which allows your car to run as normal, comes into play when the rear tires start to wear more than the fronts which in normal cases where permanent 4wd is in place can cause the car to be unstable under braking in long runs. Xray have announced the release of this alu Middle One-way Pulley set for use on their T2 chassis’. This great looking item is suitable for use with rubber tires on carpet tracks or asphalt tracks. DIY front brakes for MZ1 Rally Game chassis

Some enterprising Italian has decided that his MZ1 Rally Game chassis needed front brakes so he set about making it and then telling us how he did it. What he has essentially done is add a brake disk to the middle lay shaft and then mounted a braking system to the lower side of the radio plate which is activated by the throttle servo through a lever. The article does points out what i believe to be the big problem with this, stripping the front belt and pulley, but they say that this isnt a problem because of the way
