Serpent S411 spool, battery strap & Lex-IS body

New for the S411 from Serpent comes this lightweight nylon spool. Saves 10 grams weight, compared to alu spool, it can also be run without the alu bushing but with the bushing it will be more secure especially in modified. Another new item is the velcro battery-strap which is easy to use, thin, secure and light replacing battery tape. Finally for the S411 and other 190mm touring cars is the Lex-IS 190mm touring car body shell. Made from top-quality 0.8mm lexan it is lightweight but very stable too. On asphalt the the body creates a very neutral and easy handling, but can be raced aggressively as it offers lots of traction and steering. On carpet the steering response is more direct. 2 versions are available, one clear version and one semi-painted version, which needs one or more colors to finish it. The body comes complete with masking sheet and head- tail-light / grill sheet.

T-Work’s titanium screws

T-Work’s titanium screws are made from true 6AL/4V grade titanium and precision CNC machined to give you reliability and weight savings over regular steel screws. The titanium is of the same grade as their popular and nearly indestructible turnbuckles, which has a unique glossy finish compared to lower grade titanium, thus the need to be CNC machined instead of being pressed into shape from a mold as used with softer metals. Their starting line up will include M3 and M4 hex wrench button and Countersink head screws in various lengths with socket head and other metric and imperial sizes to follow.
