Danish nationals Rd2 double for Mike Gosvig

The second round of the Danish nationals was held in Tølløse on their very nice outdoor track. The track is high speed with a tricky chicane out to the straight. In the morning, just before the practice heat began, the rain arrived and the track was very wet, meaning a lot of drivers decided not to participate. In the Pro Stock qualifying it was Serpent driver Steven M.Olsen that was the top qualifier while in Modified it was Mike Gosvig with the Tamiya who claimed the top spot.

New for the MBX-6 and 6T from Mugen is this complete set of 10 shock springs. The set comprises of five 75mm long front springs in 8.5T, 8.25T, 8.0T, 7.75T and 7.5T and five rear 86mm long springs in 8.75T, 8.5T, 8.25T, 8.0T and 7.75T.

Team Grid TC6 delrin pistons

These new Team Grid delrin pistons are CNC machined and designed to fit perfectly into the TC6 1/10 touring car shocks. They will provide a smooth shock performance as they are precision machined and made specifically for the VCS shocks, giving all four shocks precise and matched dampening performance. Available in three hole configurations with 1.0mm, 1.1mm, or 1.2mm holes, they utilize the Associated VCS3 shock bushings and are ideal for racers who want further suspension tuning and handling performance. Berntsen & Bengtsson win 2012 Nordic titles

The 2012 Nordic Championship was held last weekend at the nice Trollhättan-track in Sweden. The race saw 48 drivers attending from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, 23 drivers in the 1:8 class and 25 in the 1:10 200mm class. The weather forecast for the whole weekend was bad, with rain forecast on all three days, though we had a good time of practice on Friday with pretty nice weather. The traction was good, but the tire wear was extremely high. During the practice many drivers in both classes showed their skills and everything was set for a tough and nice race. Unfortunately the rain came down on Friday evening and continued through the night and until next morning.

Marcel Guske moves to TLR Germany

Horizon Hobby Germany have announced that they have signed star of last year’s Euros in Germany, Marcel Guske away from Mugen and the RMV team to race for TLR. Along with signing Marcel they have also lured away young Burak Kilic, and his father Abduallah, who we featured last week when a video documentary was made about them. Both drivers wanted to thank Mugen Seiki and RMV for their support in the last years and a special thanks was directed to Mathias Reckward for his professional support and a great cooperation.
