Lee Martin confirmed for Belgian EOS encounter

Having been forced to miss the opening round of the inaugural TLR/Spektrum Euro Offroad Series presented by Horizon Hobby due to 1:8 Offroad commitments, Tamiya Racing Factory’s Lee Martin has confirmed his entry for the second encounter of the exciting new 1:10 electric offroad series that will take place in Belgium over the weekend of March 9-11. The current back to back European 2WD & British 4WD Champion will go head to head with factory driver line-ups from TLR and Team Durango on the indoor astroturf track in Charleroi where he will be aiming to deny Jörn Neumann a repeat of his domination of the opening race in the Czech Republic last weekend. Nosram Pure 2 BL motor additions

Following the initial release Nosram have added 10.5, 9.5, 7.5, 5.5, 5.0 & 4.0T versions of their Pure 2 brushless modified motor to the line up. The main focus in the development process was the highest possible efficiency and power output and so the Pure 2 features a higher power rating at improved temperature characteristics and super low friction. The dual axis balanced 12.5mm sintered worksteam rotor guarantees precise running and significantly improved efficiency. Nosram’s preciSensor system and the extra large ball bearings further boost the motors performance. Finally the ultra lightweight, precision machined 7075-T6 aluminium housing features optimized cooling cut-outs for lowest running temperatures at full power output. The full lineup includes 10.5, 9.5, 8.5, 7.5, 6.5, 5.5, 5.0, 4.5 & 4.0 turns.

Xtreme Racing Losi SCTE Hybrid chassis kit

Team Losi SCTE drivers now have a new option available to lower the center of gravity thanks to Xtreme Racing’s new Hybrid chassis kit. The kit is a hybrid combination of carbon fiber and aluminum. This is a direct replacement for the stock chassis, but doesn’t use the factory battery/speedo tray. This allows you to mount the speed control and battery lower on the chassis. The chassis is made from 3mm thick carbon with a machined billet aluminum kickup in the front. The kit includes the hybrid chassis, a 2mm top plate to help control chassis flex front to rear and a battery tray kit which allows adjustment of the battery front to rear. The battery tray kit is designed to hold a standard 2 cell hard case LiPo.

SRC carbon rear body stiffeners

New from SRC are this carbon fibre rear body stiffeners. Available in two versions for the SRC Lola 012 body and a different version for all brands of 1/8th on road bodies, the brace mounts to the cars rear body mount using the rear body posts and prevents deformation at high speed as well as protecting the shell in a crash.

AKA Cyclone SC wheels

AKA Cyclone SC wheels are designed to fit the Losi Ten SCTE 4×4. All wheels are made from the same proprietary nylon blend as the the 1:8 AKA wheels. The wheel design is modeled after the full-size wheels used on the trucks to keep that scale look that makes the SC class so cool. Behind the scenes the wheel is all about being light weight and strong. Each spoke of the wheel is hollowed out to save weight, while there are outer ribs to help support the barrel of the wheel for more consistent handling. The wheel is designed to work with our standard buggy inserts which are included with each pair of AKA SC tires.
