Exotek RB7 LiPo cups and mount system

Coming from Exotek is an adjustable LiPo cup battery hold system for the Kyosho RB7 and RB6 buggy and trucks. It allows to adjust the battery quickly, forward or way back, with ease as track conditions call for it. The system securely cradles the battery in place for added chassis flex compared to taping the battery to the chassis and it is lightweight, easy yet secure battery hold in and removal. The carbon fibre construction ensures lightness and makes factory looks with machined alloy mounting bases. The set is for experienced hobbyists as it requires a 1/8”/3.25mm drill bit and some DIY to mount the alloy base in the side rails. Included mounting instructions and a drill template help to achieve the best possible results though.

SWorkz S14-3 aluminium steering knuckles & C-hubs

SWorkz have announced the release of new aluminium steering knuckles and C-hubs for their S14-3 1/10th 4WD off-road buggy. Starting with the wheel hubs, the parts offer a perfect fit for the ball races and driveshafts and thus improved drivetrain efficiency while also prolonging bearing life. The parts also add about 3.5g of weight and they offer improved durability. The hub comes separately and it is usable on the left or the right. Also new are 9 or 11 degree caster C-hubs made of aluminium. They are usable with the standard or alloy steering knuckles and their alloy construction adds a certain weight and durability. The hubs comes as 9 degrees variant for improved corner entry and as 11 degrees variant for improved corner exit steering.

PSM S35-3 modular hub weight set

Available now from PSM is their modular hub weight set for the SWorkz S35-3 series of off-road kits. This balance weight system will be attached to the front hub and can be equipped with up to six 4.5g weights per side. A pair per side is already included in the set with additional weight being available separately. The additional weight added to the hub creates more pressure on the wheel, which can be a traction advantage in many cases without affecting the suspension setup. Installation is simple with only two screws, making it easy to detach the parts for maintenance or setup reasons. PSM recommend using the system especially on tracks whose racing line is dry and dust free.

SWorkz S14-3 aluminium rear hubs

SWorkz have announced the release of new rear aluminium hub carriers for the S14-3 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. Machined from high-quality alloy material and sporting a symmetrical design, allowing to use them both on the left and the right hand side, the sturdy hubs will improve bearing life and overall durability. Three upper camber link options give plenty of roll centre and camber gain possibilities while the black anodised surface makes for factory looks.

Vision Racing Products XV3-ST shock pistons

After a year of testing at Thornhill Raceway, Vision Racing Products have introduced the Smooth Track version of their popular 1/8th XV3 Piston, the XV3-ST. This piston design features a slightly slower rebound stroke matched with an improved “connected” compression stroke, resulting in better handling on smooth surfaces. Built using high-power 55C/110C cells for exceptional performance and durability the soft case pack measures 142x45x25mm and it weighs in at 330g. It comes pre-wired with a Traxxas-compatible plug, making it usable in Traxxas kits such as the TRX-4 Series of crawlers, the Slash VXL 2WD and 4WD; as well as the UDR Desert Racer and the E-Revo VXL.

The rims are machined from high-quality aluminium, making them strong, durable and cool looking with a mock-up brake disk adding additional visual impact and scale looks.
