CS Electronic Crossfighter options

New from CS Electronic for their larger scale off roader, the Crossfighter, comes a number of new optional upgrades. First up are the new front and rear aluminum shock towers, which feature a new shock mounting position to allow the shocks to be mounted more upright, which they claim makes the car better over the bumps giving more traction and stability. Also the new aluminium wheel hubs increase the track width of the car by 20mm which improves traction and overall handling.

O.S Speed 21XZ-B buggy engine

O.S Speed have released the next incarnation of their World Championship winning buggy engine with the release of the 21XZ-B. This 3-port engine features smoother power delivery and an 8% improvement in fuel efficiency. The motor sports a new hardened and lightened crankshaft that uses tungsten weights for balancing, and this is mounted inside ceramic bearings for reduced rolling resistance. The cooling head has also received some attention, being lowered by 9mm and lightened through the use of holes to help lower its centre of gravity.

Featuring 3 large boxes made from lightweight corrugated cardboard, smooth rolling wheels and a telescopic aluminium handle allow for easy transport. The top compartment feature 3 small pockets for spare parts in combination with 2 medium pockets on the side for larger tools and equipment. Kyle Branson wins Rd7 of British 1/8th Nats

The 7th round of this years BRCA 1/8th scale on road championships was back at the Halifax circuit, and it was yet another well attended meeting with 56 drivers. Chris Heath and Mark Green both made welcome returns and with another strong contingent from Ireland, the competition would again be very strong at all levels of driver skills. With the occasional showers disrupting Saturday free practice, the track eventually dried just prior to the controlled practice in the afternoon. This gave all drivers the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the track and grip levels prior to serious controlled practice sessions.

Available with the usual allen, ball allen, flat head, Philips, nut spinner, reamer and exhaust spring tool make this range very complete. For easy identification of the allen tools, the size is indicated on the orange anodized aluminium part of the handle with machined stripes.
