Exclusive – New Corally RDX Phi

Exclusive - New Corally RDX Phi

Seen on the pit table of Corally team driver Marc Fisher, who is present at the 4th round of the European Touring Series in Andernach, Germany, we got an exclusive look at the new prototype Corally RDX Phi. Due to be used by the factory team at the European Championships next month in Vila Real Spain, the new car sports all new geometry front and rear and a more conventional shock absorber mounting, mounted to the rear of the rear shock tower and not to the front as on the current car. Designed to cure some problems that affected the cars handling, Fisher is getting used to the cars settings in order to gain more knowledge prior to the Europeans. Also new on Marc’s car is the GM Genius 120 brushless speed controller that has a much smaller footprint than the previous versions and comes with a built in cooling fan.

UPDATE: We have been asked by Corally, through Marc Fisher, to remove the images as he was apparently not meant to show anyone the car….Doh! We will of course oblige, even though most people have already seen it, to stop Marc getting into any more trouble.

Hara leads the field at ETS Rd4

Atsushi Hara

Red RC are present at the 4th and final round of the 2007/08 Much More backed European Touring Series and after the 2nd round of qualifying it was once again Atsushi Hara that is the man to beat with his Hot Bodies Cyclone TC, topping the time sheets from the Xray T2 ‘008 of Paul Lemieux. Both drivers reported their cars were the same as in the first qualifier but that the track had lost some of its speed. Needing just another round win to secure the TQ, Hara plans to use his second available set of Sweep control tires in the third heat to try and sew up the pole.
