Karlsen takes Norwegian Stock Nationals

This past weekend saw the final race in the Norwegian national series take place in Spydeberg. The track presented was large and had a nice flowing layout, and it was an open race for the championship with several drivers in with a chance to take the title in all the classes. In 1/12th scale, Helge Johannesen (CRC) was the best driver this weekend, winning from Adrian Berntsen (Xray) and Lars Haugen (CRC), in 2nd and 3rd respectively, while in touring modified it was Adrian Berntsen (Xray) who was the fastest this weekend, followed by Helge Johannessen (Kyosho) in 2nd and youngster Petter Berntsen (Xray) in 3rd, who just started racing modified this winter after taking the step up from stock.

The car is autographed and will be sold off to the highest bidder in the coming days on eBay, with all the money gathered going directly to ‘Aktion für krebskranke Kinder der Universitätskinderklinik in Heidelberg’, a special cancer clinic for children in the city of Heidelberg, and so a much deserving cause. Xray Tweak-free Servo Mount plate

Xray release this tweak-free servo mount plate for their XII that eliminates chassis tweak caused by improper servo mounting. The mount plate is centrally mounted along the chassis centre line while the servo is mounted independently on aluminum stands on the graphite servo mount plate. This design ensures that the servo is mounted independently of the chassis and will not produce any unwanted chassis tweak. Available for mid size servos and separately for micro size servos.
