Round 4 of the French 1/10th 200mm Nationals was held at the Model Club Thionvillois this past weekend. In the Elite category it was Xray’s Leo Arnold with the overall TQ and win as Capricorn’s Quentin Leroux came in 2nd, only two seconds behind Leo. The ARCF 42 club of Saint Etienne, France played host to a round of the French 1/8th Nitro Buggy Nationals. The event saw the running of the Elite and National category drivers in a single class, hence the name of the race: The Big One. TLR’s Renaud Savoya was the man to beat in qualifying, making a clean sweep in all qualifiers to take the overall TQ. In the main final it was again Renaud who would excel, taking the win with a 1-lap margin from Xray’s Yannick Aigoin while Team Associated’s Tom Robin came in 3rd to round out…

The French Bourg en Bresse track hosted round two of the French 1/10th 200mm Championship last weekend. In the Elite class it was Xray’s Leo Arnold with the overall TQ, only some 0.23 seconds in front of Capricorn’s Brice Turco. After the 45-minute main final it was again Leo who would excel, taking the win two laps on front of Quentin Leroux (Capricorn) as Brice Turco came in 3rd, another lap down. The opening round of the French 1/8th On-road National Championship was held in Ingrandes sur Vienne this past weekend. The weather mixed things up during the weekend and in the Elite category it was Christophe Louis who would male the best out of the conditions, taking the overall TQ while in the Electric Pan Car class it was Stephane Bouche who set the fastest time. The final round of the French 1/8th IC Track Championship took place at the Bourg-en-Bress track. In the Elite class it was Thomas Eytard who would take the overall title with Romain Delaunay and Christophe Louis completing the podium.
