Bastian Hennig wins Stock class at DHI Cup

Bastian Hennig wins Stock class at DHI Cup

With all the attention normally focussed on the Modified category at big races, it sometimes overshadows the great competition that takes place in the other classes. Whilst we focused on Ronald Völkers win at last weekends DHI Cup, it was Bastian Hennig, driving and Xray, that took the stock class win after starting from 2nd place after qualifying. Bastian managed some better results in the A-main to get passed pole man Dennis Fadtke and take the overall class win with Fadtke dropping 1 place back to take 2nd overall, ahead of Lars Hoppe who took the final podium step in 3rd. Bastian was running the Orcan batteries that we featured on our site a few weeks back to take the win.

Sirio 21 BK Evo III STI

Sirio 21 BK Evo III STI

We first wrote about the Kanai edition Evo III STI engine from Sirio back in November when it was first shown to the public. Well the engine is due to be released at the end of February and we now know what changes have been made to the engine over the previous Kanai engine.

The EVO III line of engines feature a new crankcase to increase flow to the combustion chamber. Port timing and induction timing have been changed to increase torque and driveability. The result is an engine with tons of dirveable power and it’s easy to tune.

You can view some pictures and more details here.
