BRCA 1/8 Circuit Halifax Rd5 – Report

The British weather played a big part in the latest round of the 1/8 Circuit series hosted at the newly resurfaced Halifax circuit in the north of the UK recently. A bumper entry was in for the weekend’s racing with both nitro and electric classes competing. The electric class gaining popularity again with many newcomers and returning drivers attracted to the class. Saturday saw heavy rain with most drivers not going onto the track for timed practice. Sunday started similarly with rain fall and standing water on the track, it was to be a day of tricky conditions and a mostly damp track which never really fully dried. Qualifying was to come down to one round where conditions were somewhat better so pressure was on drivers to ensure they got a respectable time in.

Power HD PG-CB63 servo programming box

Power HD have introduced their PG-CB63 servo programming box. The box can be used to set the servo parameters as well as servo testing and uses a built-in high-performance 32-bit micro processor. Simply plug in the servo to adjust it and the programmer can store up to 20 saved settings in its memory, making it easy to adjust the servo for different conditions. Works with PGB and PGC servos from Power HD.

From JConcepts their High-Flow 30x30x10 fan adds cooling to the inside of the car and with a traditional size that can be mounted in various locations. The aluminium housed build protects the inner fan and motor and is anodised in black, and laser etched with JConcepts.net logo.
