Hobbywing Xerun XR8 Plus brushless speed controller

Coming soon from Hobbywing is the Xerun XR8 Plus brushless speed controller for 1/8th scale applications. The 6S LiPo-compatible ESC offers a highly efficient heat dissipation system, a 15A BEC system with selectable 6V or 7.2V output and an advanced electronic switch with improved durability compared to standard mechanical switches. The controller is usable with sensorless brushless motors as well as Hobbywing’s forthcoming new 1/8th sensored motor which can be run in a so called full-sensored mode. More information and the specifications will become available in time for the release.

RDRP B5-series glossy carbon battery plate

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced the glossy carbon fibre battery plate for the Team Associated B5M. Being a direct replacement for the standard composite part the plate is cut from high-quality 3mm glossy finish carbon fibre material, it is light of weight yet very rigid and it allows for a safe and secure battery mounting, even when the going gets tough. The plate is usable with standard as well as most aftermarket battery thumb screws and it fits the T5M stadium and SC5M short course truck as well.

Tresrey V2 electric brushless motors

New World-wide Tresrey distributor VBC Racing introduce the new Tresrey V2 electric brushless racing motors. Designed collaboration with Dualsky, the V2 motor designed for ultra light weight and high power output. Also the sensor socket of this motor is installed perpendicularly to the motor shaft so it is easier to arrange the sensor cable more compact on the car. The motor is available in a range of winding from 5.5T to 8.5T modified and as 17.5T stock variant.

Reds Racing TX120 speed controller – Preview

Italian company Reds Racing have announced the soon release of their long-awaited TX120 brushless competition speed controller. Designed with modified and stock racing as well as on-road and off-road classes in mind the speedo will feature advanced tuning options, an ultra low-profile billet aluminium case, an add-on 30mm fan unit and more. MIP B5/T5 Eco All-in-1 topshaft

New from MIP and made for the Team Associated B5 and T5 series of vehicles is the Eco All-in-1 topshaft. The shaft is designed to work with the original 3-gear rear motor, 4-gear mid motor, 4-gear V2 mid motor, 3 gear mid motor, and the MIP Box gearbox which was made possible by some clever engineering that allows to run all necessary bearing sizes on one top shaft. Along with the 5-in-1 capability the contact surface is 30 percent narrower than normal, equating to less overall contact patch and drag on the idler gear. The shaft also weighs in at a feather light 3.8 grams, making it ideal especially for 17.5 stock class needs.

Team Associated RC8B3 FT upper titanium screw set

Coming from Team Associated and made for the RC8B3 is the Factory Team upper titanium screw set. Included are a total of 92 3mm and 4mm button, flathead and socket head screws to replace the standard steel fasteners on various locations on the upper part of the vehicle. Included is also a location guide to ensure the correct screws are replaced.

Team Associated B5-series alloy front bulkhead parts

New from Team Associated and made for all B5-series based vehicles are 25 degree and 30 degree front aluminium bulkheads. Designed to add strength and a certain amount of weight the Factory Team parts are machined from high-quality aluminium and they come blue anodised and laser-etched for easy identification. The bulkheads weigh in at 15g each and an optionally available 15g add-on brass weight helps to bring them to a total of 30g to further fine-tune the weight distribution. The bulkheads will fit the B5, B5M, T5M and the new SC5M.
